Decided Freeze needed a hand cannon. I've also found a good helmet for Arkham Knight that I'll be posting later
First of all, thanks er body for the 100 follower mark, it means a lot to me and I plan to give back with a post at least every week👌. Second, this is my BF4 US Assault class figure. It's been done for a minute just didn't have the time to take a pic.👍
This post isn't about photography....obviously:-)). In fact, I didn't even take any of these shots. It's just to give a bit of an update as you have all been so supportive. This first photo is the reason I didn't get far when I took off. Got stuck at my brother's for 2 nights (he took the top photo) because of a blizzard!!! Turned out well as I got to spend New Year's eve with two of my favourite people and their friends.
I had no problems crossing the border as I had observed all the rules about fruit and meat. Apparently Canadian fruit and meat is forbidden!!! It hasn't killed me yet! The only thing I was questioned about was the mysterious thing in my freezer wrapped up. Was a snowball for Fred (Darby and me) which has since melted when I had problems with my fridge...sorry Fred.
I made it to Huntsville Alabama after spending 3 nights in Walmart parking lots. I'm officially white trash now!! I didn't see much of the states I drove through but do have some observations from the road. Ohio has more damn dead deer on the roadsides than I've ever seen, all in various states of decay. I guess Canadians scoop up that road kill real fast!! Cheap meals. Kidding...road crews do.
Kentucky and Tennessee have a lot of rolling hills and I drove through a lot of dense fog in Tennesee.
What the hell is with the weird names in Kentucky. I was worried they have some fetish for licking. I only stopped once for fuel just in case. There's a Salt Lick, a Blue Lick Springs, a Knob Lick and even a state park called Big Bone Lick. I kid you not. You couldn't make this up---check a map. A flickr friend also pointed out one I missed......Dick Lick Springs!!! Honest!!!
It was getting really old not having running water so I was thrilled to finally arrive in Huntsville Alabama and hook up to water etc. It wasn't exactly that easy as my rig had been winterized with anti-freeze so the lines wouldn't freeze so had to flush them first. I was quite proud of myself when I backed that sucker into my campsite first shot. The "good old boys" who were watching, burst out in applause and one told me I had "impressed this country boy". Almost everyone in the campsite had two names. I honestly met a Billy Bob, a Sarah Faye and a Tommy Roy. I thought about adding my middle name to mine while there:-)). I was really looking forward to staying put for a few days. I met up with my friend Wes (BamaWester) and did dinner and I got a great tour of the area. It rained practically every damn day I was here and my campsite was like a swamp!! On my second day there I was awakened EARLY with someone banging on the side of my motorhome telling me I had to evacuate the park QUICKLY!!! The Tennessee river had spilled it's banks and was flooding the campground. I was told I had 5 minutes to get out. 5 minutes isn't enough time to unhook from electricity, water etc., put everything away to get ready to move, hook up my jeep and get dressed. So I was unhooking in my pj's getting soaking wet (still raining) and running around trying to throw things wherever they would stay put. A nice guy took my jeep out to higher ground while I prepared the motorhome. I insisted I was getting dressed first. I was NOT going to drive out of there in wet pj's!! I was told not to slow down going through the water or I would block everyone else from escaping. No pressure!! Was a bit scary when water was coming in under my door while driving out. Anyway, got out and had to relocate to another campsite which was dryer anyway but it was a HUGE pain in the ass. My very first campsite, and I get evacuated!! I hope it isn't an omen of things to come. Mike laughed his ass off at me as he said he's been doing this for 3 years and never had to evacuate a campsite.
I told Wes this and I mean it. They call Canadians polite but we have nothing on people from this area. I've met two very different kinds of people here, the country folk and the highly educated sophisticated type but they are all extremely polite and helpful. Lots of Southern hospitality here:-)).
Mike arrived (mikejonesphoto) and spent a few days which was great. He was good enough to check out a few problems I've had with the motorhome and I enjoyed seeing him and his dogs. We had a great visit. Drank too much, laughed a lot and caught up. It was a lot of fun. We got together with Ann (Amabile) and Wes for shooting on Friday which luckily was the only nice day we've had. Thanks again Wes for a great day....I'm thankful there were other things on the menu at the restaurant besides raw oysters!! Always reminds me of snot!
That's the short version even if it isn't too short, more like a Chaybert story:-)). I'm leaving here tomorrow and heading for Savannah Georgia which I'm really looking forward to seeing....then on to Florida.
My 1983 Ford Sierra 1.6 L
The 'biege thing' we call it. The project Sierra has sat for a month if not more being unused. Most set backs have been due to a limited parts supply. Despite sitting, the Sierra bursts into life with every key turn, it's much more eager than my low mileage example. Running lumpy when cold, once warmed up the engine is fantastic - it's definitely a car that wants to live.
There's a question mark over what to do with the beige Sierra. Now that the red Sierra wants for a couple hundred pounds thrown at it, I feel it should receive my immediate attention instead in order to preserve its condition. Whist financially doable, if push comes to shove I may sell this car - of course, most reluctantly. This car is in no way replaceable..
In an ideal world I think I'd like to push this into a garage and return to it in a year when I'm not juggling Uni, my new job, what to do with the Getz and putting money into the red Sierra instead.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL
Rain then snow then ice.
Shots from inside since it's too cold to go out!
I have been working an absolute ton lately so I'm sorry if the quality of pictures isn't great. I have multiple things planned for the future including doing something I'm calling "4 hour builds" where I make a small MOC in 4 hours or less and show you.
I made a new gas mask using one from Minifig Cat. I also cut off the long part on the bow. On the back I added a new back pack that I made. It's a regular square lego backpack that I sculpted an put some modified lego parts on to.
+++ UPDATE: My image won the People's Choice Award in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition -- announced here -- a big thank you to all the people who voted for my picture! +++
I need your help. My picture ‘Facebook Update’ is in the running for the People’s Choice Award of the 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. If you like my picture and think it deserves a vote, then you can help me in two ways:
1. Vote for me here: Public's Choice Award.

The story:
A tourist was taking pictures with her iPhone of this snow monkey in a natural hot spring, but she came way too close - the monkey grabbed the phone and played with it for quite a while . It even managed to make the built-in flash go off. Needless to say that the iPhone did not survive the underwater session that followed.
Thank you!

Hello peeps!
These aren't the pictures I usually post on Flickr, I know. I'm here to only bring a small update that I am still walking on the surface of this earth and suffering alongside in this unbearable summer heat. After a year of being inactive on Flickr due to RL projects, I can safely say I'm working on a few things for SL that soon will see the light of day so stay tuned! For now, few minute 3AM touch ups it is or my friends won't leave me be if I don't post these.
Not sure if it's worth posting befores but eh; May as well.

Pingmen or Ping Gate, Suzhou
Due to the account capacity constraints, this account will cease to be updated after 28 June, 2024.
My new account : www.flickr.com/photos/runen3
This city gate is called "Pingmen" or "Ping Gate", located in the northwest of the old city of Suzhou. The gate is said to have existed 2,500 years ago, but was blocked until 1928, when it was reconstituted to facilitate the traffic of the nearby railway station outside the city. Then in 1958, when all the walls of the city of Suzhou were demolished, the gate of course ceased to exist.
However, in 2011-2012, the Suzhou municipal authorities rebuilt a section of the city wall at the location of the gate, directly south of the Suzhou railway station, with three arches on the wall, known as the "Ping Gate", and built on top of the wall above the gate an pseudo-ancient city tower, which had never existed at the Pingmen before 1958.
Actually, I wanted to photograph the flowered forest floor (Anemone nemorosa) .. but suddenly my 8month Magyar Vizsla pet "Kátya" jumped into the motive .. good as well ; )
Eigentlich wollte ich den mit Buschwindröschen übersäten Waldboden fotografieren ..aber dann sprang mir mein 8monatiger Magyar Vizsla Welpe "Kátya" ins Motiv .. auch gut ; )

The regulars may remember a post from a few weeks ago, linked below, showing this winter's cliff erosion due to the constant storms. It included the prediction that a particular section of the coastal path would 'go' i.e. collapse. That has now happened with the South West Coast Path being closed at that location in the last day or two.
The photo above was taken earlier this week at a location some 30 miles / 50 kms west of my original post. Certain sections of the SWCP have also been closed in this area in recent years and diversions put in place. It is now official that Britain had the wettest February since records began, so more cliff falls are certain, even when the weather becomes drier and warmer.

Well, our little guy is 11 months old today! He has changed our lives completely - for the better of course! He's full grown now and is progressing through his training very nicely. He's met most of the dogs in the neighborhood and has made lots of doggy friends. He still wants to chase the deer, bunnies and squirrels, but we're working on that. Dad is trying to groom him as his first (and last) experience with the groomer did not go so well, hence his scraggly look. Mom says that's what makes him so adorable!
This was taken with my new Z 24-120mm lens as I'm down to only 1 DSLR lens, my much used 500PF. Probably gonna hang on to that one!
Happy Sunday!
Thanks so much to everyone who takes the time to view, like or comment on my photos!

Took this a good while ago. Gordon, Huntress and Michael Lane have actually all gotten significant updates since this was taken but ah well. I don't want to set em all up again.
Anyways, just wanted to get this out of my files and into my photo-stream. Cheers, folks!

Okay sry I haven't done anything on here in awhile, sooo anyways. IM AM HYPED! I got invited into the fliker fighters, and so I updated the crow! Here he is! EVERYBODY, leave a like and a comment about what I could do better! Thx. Randomness for the day," I am on a no sugar diet, I cant eat anything that does not have sugar."
First of all, thanks to Kalilies for being such a great person and making the standalone eye tutorial. Rahna's eyes are the result of that haha.
I am quite satisfied with Rahna's look now. I'm probably still going to tinker some more with it, though. Now that I think of it, I probably will give a little makeover to all my characters.
Little/Big update-it’s finished! I think at least, we will see. Just have to make a little light box or area to take some final photos. Picking up a shit ton (idk which measurement system that fits into, but it’s a lot) of legos from my cousins tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll have enough pieces to take on some bigger projects as I get back into it! Enjoy the temporary photo, lemme know what you guys think!
