So, its that time of the year where we all go back to school. I start tommorrow. Yay-ish?
Future: I'm gonna try and post as much as I can, hopefully once a week. I'll still fave and comment as always, but uploads are gonna be slow.

I wanted publicly announce that I will be taking an indefinite hiatus from blogging. I've decided to go back to school and I need to give it 100% of my attention. Thank you so much for all of your support over the last 4 years, it means so much to me! <3
For those of you wishing to know Little Bungee's post surgery status, I will offer updates here.
January 25
Bungee is still in Hospital today recovering from surgery and also so that his doctor can monitor his condition to make sure he is progressing. We expect a call from her later.
She wishes to keep him a few days. We miss him dreadfully but will comply with the doctors' directions for Bungee.
Thank you to everyone for the heartfelt messages and good wishes. We are truly happy to realize that we have such caring friends on Fickr.

The vet says Little Bungee is doing well. We hope to welcome him back home in a couple of days.

Update April 24 :
Just arrived at the nest I was able to capture just in time that another stork wanted to make an attack or possibly a landing on the nest. Actually too late but the intruder is just visible.
The male chased this intruder as far as possible from the nest for a few minutes, after which we have not seen it. It is not clear to me what the intentions of the uninvited guest were, but he or she certainly was unwanted.
Update 24 april :
Net aangekomen bij het nest kon ik nog net op tijd vastleggen dat een andere ooievaar een aanval of mogelijk een landing op het nest wilde maken. Eigenlijk te laat maar de indringer is nog net zichtbaar.
Het mannetje heeft gedurende een aantal minuten deze indringer zo ver mogelijk van het nest verjaagd waarna we deze niet gezien hebben. Wat de intenties waren van de ongenode gast is me niet duidelijk maar ongewenst dat was hij of zij zeker.
U61 comes to a stop at CP Luke to cut the J81 pusher off, before heading west to Beech Creek on the Pokey Main. Like several of the Buchanan Branch CP's, Luke is on the agenda to be replaced with safetrans soon. *Update, CP Luke has been cut in with safetrans.

The Red Bud between Staunton and Verona was pretty awesome this year and was glad to spend some time on the Shenandoah Valley. Here the local headed for Weyers Cave is passing through Verona and the last of the good spots for Red Bud.
Last week I posted an image of a Pigeon sitting on her nest and I titled it "Your Own Home". Some people were curious about the babies and truthfully, this is my first time seeing Pigeon babies. I noticed these two just yesterday and they were not moving much. So they are quite young yet. I am surprised by their appearance! They look almost prehistoric and nothing like the adult. It's the orange tufts of fluff that really surprise me. I hope to capture their development over the next few days and I will keep you posted. Happy Wing Wednesday!

Banking a bit to the left, juvy Brown Pelican avoids the kayak blocking the landing strip on Armand Bayou.
I updated my Stug and my M3 Stuart. I am going to post better photos later. Sorry I have not been building recently I have not really had inspirations beside updating my tanks I have not really built anything. I also need to figure out what I am building for BFVA 2018, any suggestions leave a comment.
