Work is beginning in earnest on the remodeling of our 150+ year-old farmhouse. The contractors began to demo and gut the kitchen, bathroom and library, three of the first rooms to be redone. The work revealed inside the house's stone walls, old wiring and duct work, a 70-year old newspaper behind a wall, and even a long-abandoned bee's nest.

Thanks for your well wishes guys!

I've been driving straight to the hospital after school and getting home around 7-8 and I still have mounds of homework to get through, so 365 might be on hold temporarily. =[

My dad's doing a little better. Doctors still aren't 100% sure what's wrong, but he's got a whole bunch of symptoms and some of his toes have turned black and they may have to amputate.

This is a picture I took yesterday btw. Cute dog! His name is Murphy.

& I just found out today that my cell phone can take panoramic shots. I'm in love! I will for sure be taking more of those in my free time. I wonder if Nikon D-series cameras can...?

We had to add a row to support 6 week months (rare, but they happen). Also updated the model to make it much easier to change the numbers each month.

This mystery fungus is now oozing what looks like blood....

I have found a reference to what is called Devil's tooth fungus, but am still not sure that this is what it is.

This growth was on the same tree......

Off to the dentist now, will catch up later.

Drawing Book No. 4

I blurred out the stuffs going in my next update because they're SECRETS! :)

Updated with _some_ of the horse photos...

I'm already running out of spaces to put them.

Tomorrow I will be taking Daley to see the specialist at Rivergum Vets. I've never been there before, but I've heard that they are the best in Perth. I would say that I'm hoping for good news, but I'm not an idiot. I guess it all depends on what Grade his luxating patella falls into. I've been reading about it and from what I've read it sounds like he will need the surgery to try and correct it. If the vet confirms this, there will be tears :'(

I will probably have to book him in again so that they can put him under GA too have a better feel of his knee, and possibly take new X-rays of his hip because of the dysplasia.

Meaty got a makeover! His new felt is much more meatish.

Fun fact: A very large portion of irked meats are sold to vegetarians.

Updated custom front rack for the Gunnar. At the advice of those who know more, I may add an additional tombstone reinforcement.

We just updated the re:makeables store with new retro-themed patterns, lots of adorable buttons and color-themed fabric packs!

Many spectators, us included, used mobile devices to check the progress of the race. In the Nordschleife that was the only way to know how things were going.

I've much, much more pictures, so if you want a picture of a certain car, don't hesitate to contact! Also, much more pictures can be found from my friends set: www.flickr.com/photos/mondogonzo/sets/72157627072623992/

On September 1, our local transit agency, Muni (The San Francisco Municipal Railway) upped the one-way fare for the second time in two years.

In the week leading up, they were slapping $1.50 signs just about everywhere. Often over identical signs still up from the $1.25 hike two years ago.

Muni, never one to actually create clear and consistent messaging also posted this sign at the top of the stairs in Powell Station, note date listed.

I wrote to them pointing out they posted a sign 5 years out of date and it was a week before it was moved, not removed, just moved to the side of the steps and not directly in front of them.

Daily updates of my trip to Asia. I'll be hitting Seoul, Shanghai, Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan and then Seoul before going home to Montreal.
