an update to a van build from several years ago. 1965 Chevy Sportvan Deluxe surf van. for 1964 - 1969 the Sportvan was the window-optioned van, and the highest trim level was the Deluxe which included two-tone paint and extra beltline trim as well as a really nice interior package including additional seating for up to six people besides the driver.
...with Gaston photobombing! I also completed Mulan's final outfit by adding the white portion to the bottom and torso sections of her dress! Thoughts?
Yay, more boring pictures of Knox sitting on her bed XD
Just wanted to update of the few things I got done.
Painted the flower pot white, finally found a mirror the right size for over her dresser (I still have a lot to do to that), made two more picture things for the wall.
The pineapple I got in Holland, I just thought it was really cute and matched the color scheme so I framed that, and made a little rorschach test thing :)
I ordered some thin gold tape of eBay it's made for nails, but should do the job, to add little trim to the bed and flower pot.
I've still got like a million other little things to do... and I keep adding to the list. I just thought of another thing I want to do last night and once I get an idea like that stuck in my head it's almost impossible to get it out so I'm gonna have to do that to :P
I've ultimately decided to drop DC as a regular thing (don't worry, I'll still show em' off) and get back to Smash Bros.
I tried customizing DC characters, but it just isn't as fun compared to making Smash characters. Maybe it's because I'm a Nintendo fan, I dunno.
So for the future, expect more Smash stuff. I have a whole list of things to make besides playable characters...
Including:
Assist Trophys
Alt costumes (though only specific ones)
Items
Possibly Bosses
Some Pokemon
Stages
These are listed in order to how much of a priority they are, so....let's just see how this will turn out.
Changes for the characters above:
Rosalina:
#1 - Improved hair and face
Greninja:
#1 - Smaller head
#2 - Brighter in color
Well that's all.
Good night, and God bless! :D

Hey guys, here's and update on life. Man, I was so freaked out, I said, "Comfuture."
Also, if I didn't say your name, don't be offended. I was obviously talking on a stream of consciousness.
Oh, and for some reason it sounds like I said Amty Sandbox, sorry about that Jack...
yep thanks for the brown circle bricks for the trees, nitrious....
what do you guys think about the trees?
First of all, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to express their concern for Wookie through comments or emails. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kindness and caring.
My last update was Saturday... right before we took him back to his regular vet for the fourth time. His regular vet still couldn't find anything specifically wrong, and discharged him with antibiotics.
On Sunday morning, we found that he had vomited a huge amount in his crate. Mixed in with everything was what appeared to be a large chunk of an IAMS tartar treat. Wookie was cowering and screaming in pain whenever we touched him. I put the chunk in a baggie and rushed him to the off-hours emergency vet clinic.
They put him on IV fluids and doggie morphine and said they needed to keep him until his regular vet reopened Monday morning. When we called to check on him, they said he had vomited another large chunk of the IAMS biscuit.
We picked him up from the emergency clinic on Monday and took him back to his regular vet. He had never looked so awful - his tail was pinned between his legs, he could barely stand on his own, and he felt cold. His temperature was down to 98 (normal for a dog is 101.5 or so) - his pulse and respiration were half the normal rate.
His regular vet examined him again and immediately got on the phone to our regional veterinary teaching hospital at Virginia Tech. We rushed down there (about a two and a half hour drive)
The vet team at Tech was absolutely wonderful with Wookie. They wanted to rule out all possible structural and metabolic causes before they focused on the fact that he vomited up two huge treat chunks and may be suffering effects from a foreign object stuck in his stomach.
They did more bloodwork and an ultrasound. The bloodwork came back perfect for the most part -- except for markers for malnourishment. (that wasn't a surprise since Wookie really hasn't eaten for nine days). The ultrasound showed that his digestive tract looked empty and normal. The vet did caution us that ultrasounds are not foolproof, they can miss things due to all the curves and folds in the digestive tract. Endoscopy and exploratory surgery are the only foolproof ways (both are done under anesthesia) to see if there is a foreign body in a dog's digestive tract.
She wanted to avoid putting Wookie under anesthesia, and treat him more conservatively. She decided to keep him at Virginia Tech as an inpatient. She's been giving him a small "meatball-sized" meal every few hours and tracking his progress. If Wookie keeps the meals down and eventually passes them normally, she's going to assume that the vomited treat chunks were his problem.
She called us about 15 minutes ago, and told us that Wookie has now had 4 mini-meals and has not vomited. He's also looking more energetic and happy. So maybe I can dare to hope that he has finally rounded the corner! She'll call again this evening and if he is still doing well, he might be able to come home tomorrow!
If he does start vomiting again, they will likely do the endoscopy and surgery. I really hope it won't come to that. Wookie has been through so much misery these past ten days.
Incidentally, I had suspected this IAMS tartar treat since the very beginning, but the symptoms and tests did not back my theory up. I suppose there is a lot to be said for intuition. Also -- for other dog owners -- these IAMS treats were specifically created to compete against Greenies. IAMS claims they are safer, 100% digestible and edible, and "so hard that your pet won't be able to break the treats into chunks large enough to disrupt digestion". Wookie is not an aggressive chewer and he was watched the whole time he ate his IAMS treat. He ate it quickly, but not that quickly. This was the first IAMS treat Wookie ever had in his life. It is also the LAST one Wookie (or any of my dogs) will *ever* get. I'm amazed that two large chunks of this treat floated around, undigested, in his stomach for NINE days.
Poor little Wookie only weighs 13 pounds right now. :(

So I think I'm back now. Been busy with real life. End of school year, we moved, hurt back because of the move, but now I'm up and around and mostly unpacked and started sewing again! Whew! Been sewing for the Pukifee.
A little update at the place tomorrow, I can really use the funds right now.
Edit: whoops, I noticed I put april 18th in the picture...while I meant april 19th of course! I hope you all understood (since the time mentioned in the picture had already passed when I posted this). Sorry for the confusion...
Just a wee update on her progress , Mum and Daughter both doing extremely well , it's been really tiring for them as you can Imagine , with it being the holiday's there have been a lot of visitors etc. but both coping really well , cant say the same about young Phil , I think all the excitment and attention are getting to him a wee bit . We still haven't managed to get out yet and " Weet the Bairn's Heed " but there's plenty of time for that . As for me ,well I managed to get out with Bruce for 2 hours on Tuesday morning , but as we had both been " Shanghaied " into going to Dundee for the sales , we thought it best if we just did as we were told . 1st time this week I have had some time to myself so I'm trying to catch up with what every-one has been up to , hopefully will manage to pop back in tonight at some point , hope every-one had a nice Xmas and that you all got what you wanted ,

I am working on a nice outfit for this wonderful girl. Actually I wanted it for the 58cm girls, but the Adam Harris Pattern 1790 is too big for my smaller girls. But Lalia does not mind :)
It is really nice to do something with the dolls again - so relaxing!
What have done until now:
- made a bumroll (not on the pattern)
- made a skirt much wider than the pattern (I prefer them this way).
- made the dress. The closures still need to be added to the front and I need to work on the lining not being visible. It will also need to see a hot iron soon :)
- I have ordered shoes to go with this outfit that somewhat resemble what people were really wearing in this time.
The shoes look really promising in the pictures. I hope they are as pretty in real life :)
Next:
- underskirt - I would love a bit more volume there. Problem is that they do not really need to be wider at the bottom - or she loses the silhouette.
- white this stockings with garters
- a fichu - which is a triangle shaped neck scarf that can fold in or over the bodice of the dress. I want something pretty and lacy :)
- research and decide what to do with her hair and what she should wear on her head. Or keep the long hair. I like this wig on her.
- a new face-up I want to use this as the basic colour, but want to add a few more to get more details :)

After so many months, today I received this set back from Cecile along with a lovely care package and the items she was able to complete for the trade. Despite everything I went through I'm guilted over receiving such lovely things from her for nothing. I'll make a post soon of what she sent and said...
**********************************************************************************
Everyone knows I love trades. If find out a customer makes something I will often suggest a trade because I want to support my fellow craftsmen and artists. I going to finish all the trades I have going currently but I don't think I'll be taking any more. This is the second time I've been burned and with a trade there is not much I can do to get back my work or the value. I'm sad to loose this set because I loved it so. I made it special and went way over our set trade value, this set was almost double it, because I wanted to make something special for someone I thought was a friend. It's been several months and she won't even reply to my messages. I'm heartbroken. But now it's time to warn others about her.
JORDAN UPDATE: I know you have been waiting for an update, but I have been busy with so many rescues (I will post a new story tonight). If you missed Jordan's story, it is pinned to the TOP of the Hope For Paws page: www.facebook.com/HopeForPawsCalifornia (please click and read it first so you'll know the background story).
First I want to assure you that we are working with the police on this case, we're submitting evidence, and hopefully the person who did this will be punished!
Jordan continues to recover slowly. He just got another medicated bath to help treat his mange, and it really makes him feel better.
Because of the infections in his body, and because he is anemic (low red blood cell count), we needed to postpone the surgery.
Laila, a dog who we rescued a few days ago volunteered to donate some of her blood to help little Jordan (picture at the bottom left corner). We did two blood transfusions, and we continue to medicate him with antibiotics and pain meds.
He now lifts his head up, looks around, he is eating well, and I hope that next week he will get to go to his foster home.
It is so amazing that this little kid is only 7 months old, and loves human contact so much; all I have to do is reach to him, and he rests his head in the palm of my hand.
Tomorrow I'll post photos from his surgery (it may be a little rough to watch, but it is just a part of the process, and I want to share every step with you guys as you are supporting this effort financially with your donations). I really appreciate the toys and beds you sent for him... I can't wait for him to learn how to play with a toy.
This weekend I will work on a NEW rescue video, and I will post it here: www.HopeForPaws.org
