I love working with reclaimed fleece from hoodies, jackets, etc. Most of the time I use it to line the wool mittens I make-but I love to every once in awhile make some little fleece hats for kiddos. Here are a few from my new collection in the shop.
I made these pillowcases with a wonderfully soft Pima cotton. Tthe cuffs are constructed from an upcycled vintage tablecloth with a strawberry print.

This modern, trendy cuff is created entirely of scraps and upcycled materials!! Does that fabric look familiar? Well, considering iamthemandy materials are gathered from all over, it is totally possible it could have once belonged to you. Sewn from old fabric scraps, laces, threads and denims, this cuff wouldn't be complete without a vintage button closure. An elastic band wraps around the vintage button to strap the cuff to your wrist.

This is the very first upcycled necklace I made and I decided to add the flowers to cover the cord ends.
Made with a piece of woolen blanket, the back and the applique are made using a second hand lycra dress with a funky retro pattern of roses on a checkered orange and red background.

I saw a similar idea originally on Pinterest so of course I had to run with it. I just added 24" 2x4's to the bottom to raise the pallets to headboard level rather than drill into the wall. We did end up anchoring the pallets with brackets.
