One of the guys at the office is upset with all the people that have quit smoking, so he has set up smokers in his cubicle. Here is one from The Matrix.
on our last visit to detroit lake, we took a side trip to this astounding pond. i don't remember anymore what it was called or know where it was.
We had a blast discovering a new art form at The Unreal Garden, an augmented reality experience at Onedome in downtown San Francisco. This interactive art exhibit features the works of eight artists, displayed in a large exhibit space. Their beautiful artworks are revealed when you put on these HoloLens headsets, which let you see both the physical room you're in and the virtual art all around you. Everywhere you look, you see luminescent acid-colored shapes, floating in the middle of a virtual garden of illuminated flowers. All this digital art is superimposed over an actual indoors garden.
After this brief introduction, I think this augmented reality (AR) technology offers a very promising new medium for artists, with a wider palette than virtual reality (VR). Instead of limiting yourself to VR's isolating experience, you get to play in both the physical and virtual worlds, which makes for a more social and multi-layered experience. That said, this art form is still in very early stages of development and has not yet reached its full potential, partly because it is trying to superimpose two worlds that are very different. Can’t wait to see where it evolves in coming years. Many thanks to our son Adam for introducing me to this new medium!

This apparition is actually the shadow of a stand-up comedian at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The shadow has a diffuse outline as it is the result of multiple flood lights.

My friend Chase got an industrial piercing. After it heals, he'll replace the two short bars with one long one.

A side-effect of the major forest-fires that ravaged the BC Interior this summer. The smoke was apparent thousands of miles to the East, as far as Ottawa, and certainly enhanced our sunsets in Vancouver... I really didn't do much to this photo---enhanced only by smoke...
The building of the Meteorological Service on Botev Peak. We saw it only for a few moments, when the fog cleared away.
There was something metaphysical in the air. She was so majectic, walking like a ghost or angel. If you remember mysterious person from "Dekalog" of Kieślowski, you know what I mean.

I get this feeling a lot, like I'm sitting in a dark room looking out through the TV screen of my eyes. It's a feeling of detachment, of being lost inside myself, enclosed, separated.
Went for a sort of hyper-real processing on this one (for good or ill) but I decided to stick with it as it made it look "different"
