I saw this doe for only a couple of minutes. She stared at me with eyes of liquid brown. When she left, she left so quiet and quickly, that I wasn't even sure she had been there. She was beautiful.
Golden Jubilee Bridge, London
The river’s tent is broken: the last fingers of leaf
Clutch and sink into the wet bank. The wind
Crosses the brown land, unheard. The nymphs are departed.
Sweet Thames, run softly, till I end my song.
The river bears no empty bottles, sandwich papers,
Silk handkerchiefs, cardboard boxes, cigarette ends
Or other testimony of summer nights. The nymphs are departed.
And their friends, the loitering heirs of city directors;
Departed, have left no addresses.
By the waters of Leman I sat down and wept…
Sweet Thames, run softly till I end my song,
Sweet Thames, run softly, for I speak not loud or long.
But at my back in a cold blast I hear
The rattle of the bones, and chuckle spread from ear to ear.
- TS Eliot, The Waste Land

This is NOT A PHOTOSHOP EFFECT just a simple vaseline trick!
Nunca dejes que aplasten tus sueños,
porque en el camino hacia ellos reside la felicidad,
alcanzarlos significa dejar de soñar,
despertar y volver a soñar...
fluir.

This was shot from 12 images done by hand on the breakwater at Port Kembla.
You can see to the right the basic view that I shot in "160 - Railway to Oblivion" below in my photostream. This might not be the most captivating scene but I thought I'd share it with those of you who wander by my flickrstream so that you had a bit more context for these shots.. and because I think it kind of came out alright.
Techy stuff - Pano shot with 18-55mm lens in combination with two Cokin Grad ND filters slightly offset to keep the sky under control. This was all then stitched by the tiny computer nerds in Photoshop CS3 I added some curves adjustment and a bit of cloning where there was a gap and cropped the whole shot a little to give it nicer edges and voila!
Hope you enjoy these decidedly unreal lines ;-p
