⭐️Thank you in Advance for your kind ‘Faves’ Visits and Comments they are so very much appreciated. 👍
I cannot always ‘Thank’ everyone individually, for their Visits and ‘Faves’ however, I will always try to respond and thank all those that leave a ‘Comment’. If I do not reply to your 'Comment', it is not because I am ignoring you, it's because I have not seen the 'Comment'.
Your 'Comments' do not always appear in 'Notifications' or Flickr mail, so, I am sorry for any delay in responding. Often your 'Comment' is only spotted 'On the Page' on the day, that I see it. (seen ONLY when replying to someone HAS 'Commented' on the image, and I see a notification)

Upon asking the person who owned the garden I was taking some of the latest shots in, I learned that it is a form of a Thistle, but the type remains unknown so far! But I loved its form, I couldn't resist capturing it.
I took this shot at the Botanical Gardens at Mt Coot-Tha, just out of Brisbane. I have no idea what they are called so if anyone knows I would be glad to know so I can add it to the title. All those black spots are ants.

In the last light of the rotation, I look into the abyss and see only a smiling mocking face. My face, laughing at me, it knows me, it feels me. Like a forbidden door that has been opened, Pandora's box, I see myself. For the very first time I truly see myself. What I am. What I am capable off. Where my destiny lies. But I don't want that destiny, I don't want to know me. I want another me. I let the rifle fall to the ground, take off my helmet. Breathing the fresh unfiltered air. Watching the sun set with the naked eye, it's beautiful, virtuous, a promise of rebirth. I take a deep breath, I hold it for as long as I possibly can, I don't want the smell to leave, I don't want to forget. I turn my back on the dark side of my mind and walk away, embracing the unknown sun lit road.
The spring tide covered the causeway at marine lake, Weston-super-mare. I had been planning this shot after seeing the tide timetables. However I was not expected the heavy fog, which adds another dimension of entering into the unknown.
Judging from the tide timetable, the causeway is only covered with 14m tides.

Bob found himself in unknown land, this afternoon. Instead of taking in the beauty, he simply grumbled to me how his legs would hurt by the time he gets home.
I knew he'd refuse to adknowledge he has no legs.
Whoever starts out toward the unknown must consent to venture alone.

I'm having trouble identifying these. They are Skippers of some sort. If anyone can ID them please leave a comment. Found in my garden in the Austin, Texas area.

ABOUT WESTERN GHATS:
Western Ghats, or Sahayadris as they are known in many Indian languages, are a 1600 km long chain of mountains that run parallel to the Arabian Sea in peninsular India. They give birth to almost all the major rivers of south India. These rivers provide drinking and irrigation water for more than 250 million people. The 'Ghats' are one of earth's designated 25 Bio-diversity 'Hot Spots'. They are home to some of earth's rarest flora and fauna and most spectacular landscapes.
