When you hike, make sure you know your path. There are so many unknown paths that lead you to nowhere. Carry a map if you have to assuming there is no reception for mobile devices.
Another one I can't identify. When they are young ones like this, it's hard to determine an exact species.
This was an attractive spider, but I've seen several much more exciting jumping spiders around recently, but they've all gotten away. I've seen several ant-mimicking jumping spiders, Hentzia palmarum, Hentzia mitrata, adult Maevia inclemens males (very colorful and seemingly very intelligent)
It seems the more beautiful and rarely seen the spider, the better they are at escaping.

I have Just updated my Blog with a couple of posts. I have added a free set of butterfly brushes to download as well as an update on the vintage actions I have been trying out.
Returning from the Millau Viaduct we passed through some lovely scenery and villages, this was one, but unfortunately I forgot to note down the name of it.

At last I got to photograph this statue. I tried different angles to line up the symbol, the statue and the National Gallery, Neither lined up with the other. A few early tourists came to join me. They are always welcome to photobomb my image. I came back a couple of mornings later only to find that it has been removed! Shocked!!! Then again I should be thankful for recording it before it was taken down... Cheers!
