Peaceful Travel Tuesday
Another view of Universal City -looking down on Universal Studios. In the foreground you can see the top of the clock tower used in the "Back to the Future" movies.
The Universal City Overlook is only about a 10 minute drive into the hills from where I now live in Studio City. The Universal Studios theme park is in the right/center of the photo. The Harry Potter world opens soon, which I'm looking forward to.

Lost City / Bungle Bungle range / Purnululu National Park / Kimberley / Western Australia / It was taken from air
I travelled Kimberley region on September and October 2013. The Kimberley is one of the nine regions of Western Australia and it is in the northern part of Western Australia. The Bungle Bungle Range, in Purnululu National Park, is one of the most striking geological landmarks in the Kimberley. To visit the park was one of my dream goals and finally I was able to have two months holiday and without hesitation I headed to the park.
Purnululu National Park was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2003, for its outstanding universal natural heritage values. But the Park’s domes, gorges and wet season waterfalls were almost unknown to the outside world until 1982 when aerial pictures of this outback jewel were released. To view the park from air is still the best way to see this maze of orange-and-black striped sandstone domes, often likened to giant beehives. So I took a scenic flight (helicopter tour) over the towering domes and took this shot.

Great find at an antique mall today. I already had a bulb on hand. Got to love finding vintage accessories.
Ice that had formed in a meandering stream and 'copied' the shape of the stream in its folds. Sometimes its almost as if the 'ideas' of forms and shapes exist before those forms become manifest in nature and preceed even the physical forces that eventually reveal them
Globalization and universality do not go together. Indeed, they might be said to be mutually exclusive. Globalization is the globalization of technologies, the market, tourism and information. Universality is the universality of values, human rights, freedoms, culture and democracy. Globalization seems irreversible; the universal might be said, by contrast, to be disappearing. At least as constituted as a system of values at the level of Western modernity, which is something that has no equivalent in any other culture.

So, I built a Universal Carrier with a 2 Pdr. I can't say this is my best work, but with that said I'm relatively happy given my lack of parts in these colours and my inexperience with any type of Camo scheme and with that in mind I'm satisfied.
C&C is always appreciated. Enjoy!
Also thanks to William for some good C&C on the WiP photo
