"FTC Universal" in PRL was among monopoly of foreign trade in goods appliances, but also brokered trade in a number of other types of goods. He exported, among others, Bicycle brand Romet, which he offered were sold under the brand name "Universal". A visible sign of Universal's position in Communist times was to build in 1965 the need for a high approx. 50 m office building which is the headquarters of the company. It was located at Al. Jerozolimskie 44, Warsaw (the building was demolished at the turn of 2016 and 2017).
