The Maryland Military Department celebrated Unity Day, an event designed to enhance cross-cultural awareness and promote harmony, Sept. 23, 2010, at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore. Unity Day included displays, artifacts, games/activities, food samples from the different groups as well as live music by the Maryland Defense Force Band. (Photo by Spc.
