Although Bodenstedt 40 features a cock forepart, the incuse and style of the obverse on this piece is more consistent with the issues of the earlier period.

Intricate. Unique. Feminine.
3 dainty light cream fabric flowers, clustered to form a small floral bouquet. The intricacies and neutral tones create a light and airy feel, very sweet and delicate.
Each floweret is individually hand-made, with the petals gathered gracefully around an antique brass bead. Fabric used is a light velvet-like material which doesn’t fray, and is soft to the touch. All pieces are unique.
The tiny bouquet is mounted on a simple adjustable antique brass ring base, which is sturdy and of excellent quality.

Was very very lucky to get this shot. This shot is unique because of its POV. Not everyone gets permission to take this shot. I was one among the 2 who got access to shoot this. I was also lucky to visit many places in fort which is not acessed by/open to public. A new place was discovered inside of Bidar fort and i was lucky enough to see that place before it is open to public.
Gagan in Sanskrit word meaning heaven. The Gagan Mahal therefore, means the heavenly place. It was built by Bahamani kings during 14-15th century AD, but later the Baridi Shahi rulers made certain alterations and additions in the plan of the building notably in the northern wing of the palace and the apartments of the roof of the southern block. The rooms belonging to the ground floor of the latter block are however , of the bahamani period and they show a style of architecture in which strength is combined with beauty. The place also has two courts, the outer one apparently used by the staff and the guards of the palace. The entrance of the outer court comprises a four centered arch of Tudor type. On the southern side of this court is a series of rooms & halls built in rows, one behind the other, which have eight arched openings towards the court. The inner court has arcade of three sides except north and the main building of the palace lies to its south. It has rooms on the ground floor and roof floor for the royal ladies. The main building of the palace was for the use of the sultan and his harem. At the back of the double hall on the ground floor is a narrow corridor with windows opening towards the moat.

The Hofstra-Digital Remedy Venture Challenge is an annual entrepreneurship competition for Hofstra students administered by the Hofstra University Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship with total prizes valued at $$76,500, made possible through the donation of a Hofstra Board Trustee and CEO of Digital Remedy, Mike Seiman. The competition is in its eleventh year at Hofstra University.
We are looking for business ideas that demonstrate scalability, the identification of a unique problem, and has a qualified team in place to execute the idea. The Challenge offers a great experience and is a resume builder for any career path.

An original and unique piece of artwork created during the first Arts Fest in Seguin will be unveiled at a reception in the lobby of the Utility Billing Department of City Hall, 205 N. River Street, on Tuesday, June 7 at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to the unveiling and a reception will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The title of the artwork is: “Art in Seguin…Deep in the Heart of Texans”. Thirty children of all ages and 13 selected local professional artists contributed to the 30” x 40” mixed media work. The artists and the downtown architectural feature they created are Roger Betschler, The Texas Theatre; Marika Bordes, The Chamber of Commerce; Matthew Chase, Central Park Fountain; Howard Crunk, The Mosheim Mansion; Carrie Davenport, The Courthouse; Alleen Donohue, Wells Fargo Bank; Barry Duncan, Starcke Furniture Company; Kristina Kelson, The Old Baptist Church; Henry Moore, The Old Post Office; Karen Roberson, The Old First National Bank; James Franklin Schmidt, City Hall; Helen Stein, The Courthouse; and Sandra Waite, the Tips Building.
Mixed media used in the project includes oil, acrylic, collage, photography, mosaic, plaster, ceramic, steel, computer design, and wood. Thirty children created the hearts and star tiles that frame the artwork.
The project is the brainstorm of local wood sculptor Marika Bordes. The artwork was created to support the efforts of the Seguin Commission on the Arts. It will be temporarily installed in City Hall until a permanent home is found for the piece.
I call it unique...because I decided to name all my tiles and so sometimes a girl just has to take the first thing that comes to her. This tile does Feature - mostly - Patterns that I came up with by myself. Discovered or figured out by myself. I didn't invent them of course. The scratchy one I call "pig pen". Pretty Basic. I like the way it looks and especially the way it feels, when I just start flicking my pen after all the careful strokes t hat make up most Patterns.

Dornier Do 335 A Pfeil
The unique Dornier Do 335 Pfeil (Arrow) was among the fastest piston-engine aircraft ever built. The unconventional push-pull arrangement of its fore and aft propellers provided the power of two engines but with less drag and better maneuverability. The Do 335 first flew in September 1943. Fighter, trainer reconnaissance, and night fighter versions were planned, but the war ended before large-scale production could begin.
This airplane, a Do 335 A-0, is one of 10 preproduction aircraft and the sole survivor of its type. U.S. Army forces captured it at the Dornier factory at Rechlin-Oberpfaffenhofen on April 22, 1945. The U.S. Navy flight tested it at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station from 1945 to 1948. The Smithsonian acquired it in 1961. In 1974 it was returned to Germany, restored by Dornier, and displayed at the Deutsches Museum in Munich until 1991.
