As related by Halpern, her work is “An arch in the shape of a face, leaning on its nose. To see something whimsical,

surprising and delightful in the landscape is always inspiring”. Halpern’s most famous work is the bicentennial sculpture

Angel that was located in the moat at the National Gallery in St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
