Hello my friends, I'm there five months without posting photos because being with my chores and no be no time to reciprocate your kind comments! Returning soon to leave my message of Happy Holidays''''. I am very grateful for your understanding and friendship here on Flickr! Brazilian friend's greetings!
an exchange between you and the landscape, in which - however unlikely this may seem - there is a dialogue between the two of you. It is simply courtesy to allow the landscape to speak :-)

This one has a very special flavor since it's finally my very first Martin 2020, after having broken my teeth several times on my usual spots lately, so I decided to change tactics by exploiting 'other places, armed with a pair of binoculars I looked for clues indicating its fishing grounds, and I finally came across a large willow branch overlooking the river and it is from this branch that I I was able to observe my fellow fishing, neither one nor two I set up my famous usual operating mode by tying a perch on the bank not far from the branch and finally that morning he came twice to take possession of its brand new diving board.

The Gray Wagtail feeds on numerous aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates. It captures insects on the ground after a short chase, but also while flying. It pursues its prey with rapid undulating flight, or hovering briefly before capturing it. On the ground, it hunts by walking, exploiting all kinds of surfaces from roads to roofs of houses and other open places.
It can capture prey by running and pecking to grab it. It also happens to jump in the air to grab a flying insect.
But this aquatic bird also hunts in shallow water where it finds invertebrates on the surface or in the mud. It hovers above water or vegetation.
On ocean coasts, she digs among the algae along the tidal line. When foraging in cultivated fields, it often follows the plows.

Each image has its own little story and this is no exception to the rule, by going to one of my "passerine" spots, I take the small path and this pretty specimen was perched on top of an embankment, seeing me arrive on the spot he had the good idea to flatten himself thinking that I will not see him, arrived at 40 meters he preferred to pass on the other side of the embankment, neither one nor two I parked at a respectable distance (20 meters) I put the camouflage net in front of the door of my coach and I waited wisely for him to come back, the wait was not very long, about twenty minutes and he resumed his life as a pheasant by remaining almost two good hours to scratch the ground and parade at the top of its embankment.
Image taken in a natural environment and from the car door fitted with the camouflage net.

Understanding is the reflection of creating.
through an understanding of others and the world we inhabit. When that happens, the result, like photographs, are really the expressions of the life of the maker.

When are we going to learn to live together in peace and understanding? Violence is NO solution. We need to share our space in this world together and make room for all of us to share with respect, friendship and love! There is NO ROOM for hate in this world, it just kills us all and creates never-ending pain and devastation. STOP the hate, START the love!!!
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
Those who have chosen the path of least resistance in life, who cannot bear to bring themselves to make a stern value-judgment in criticism of their own most intimate feelings, achieve what they deserve: not self-understanding but radical self-superficialization, not a discovered but a self-ascribed identity that explains nothing, reveals nothing, means nothing, and ultimately accomplishes nothing culturally or intellectually.
-- Kenny Smith
"Gravity is one major force that creates tides. In 1687, Sir Isaac Newton explained that ocean tides result from the gravitational attractions of the sun & moon on the oceans of the earth. (sumich, Jolo 1996)" At low tide, the green algae once again reveals itself and a reversal of color in this seascape shot results.
Newspapers, radio and television reporting on deaths are occurring at an alarming and unreal rate and they are not getting better but worse, by the day! When are we going to do something to stop this situation? If our politicians will do nothing, we the people have to act and react!
Family is the most important unit and we need to cherish and protect it! We need to teach our own families about love, respect, understanding and compassion and how important it is for us to reach out to one another, listen, help and embrace our differences. Hate only brings misery and violence, which no family needs! Please Flickr artists help me address this problem and bring it to the forefront of our attention.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️
To those who celebrate Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas. I also hope and pray that all religions can come together in peace and understanding and include warm friendship with those who are not religious. I believe that we have to spread love, tolerance, friendship and come together to make our world a better place with more equality, respect and the ability to live and let live without being judgemental.
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Happy week to you dear friends! -
Understanding and acknowledging its existence is the pathway to Light
Remaining in Ignorance enables it
It is dark, it is ugly – it is vile
It is the devil’s playground
It is seductive
Only through shining a light on its existence . . .
Can humanity and our earth heal
Humanity is on the precipice
Let’s pray - Amen

A PRAYER TO DEFEAT THE WORK OF SATAN
O Divine Eternal Father, in union with your Divine Son and the Holy Spirit, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg You to destroy the Power of your greatest enemy – the evil spirits. Cast them into the deepest recesses of hell and chain them there forever!
Take possession of your Kingdom which You have created and which is rightfully yours. Heavenly Father, give us the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I repeat this prayer out of pure love for You with every beat of my heart and with every breath I take.
Amen.
On this way good luck and all the best dear friends in Ukraine from dl1ydn 73

We had been to Chaco Cultural Park, and loved it. The park is magical because you can explore inside the actual structures. This really makes you feel history. Well, when it was time to schedule a visit to nearby Aztec Ruins National Monument, we figured it was going to be more of the same. Now, that was just fine with us, because we loved Chaco.
However, the National Park team was very thoughtful. They did not want similar experiences in two parks that were so close to each other. So how to you address this issue? They had Chaco is a state of arrested decay, meaning they work hard to leave it like they found it. No more decay, but no less either. Its a fine balance. So at Aztec, they re-created a full community sized Kiva. This contrasted with Chaco because it was finished, like it would have been long ago. This provided a very different experience and thought us new things about the Puebloan culture (not Aztec, BTW, that was a misnomer made long ago that stuck).
So what does that mean to this image? I had shot a classic image at Chaco that showed the procession of doorways spanning several rooms. I loved it. But I did not want to shoot the same thing here. Well, here they recreated the wood ceilings throughout a procession of rooms. So to emphasize the uniqueness of Aztec (the fact that its complete) I tried to capture the wood ceiling. What I came up with reminded me that I often do much better work when I have some kind of constraint. The fact that I challenged myself to include the ceiling ended up creating an image that truly am proud of. It ended up with a real adventure feeling (blame Indy I guess).
Enjoy. Let me know what you think.

Paolo
an image, a story
I think a good photo can provide an “access key” to a certain topic or situation, it makes us ask what, where, why, it awakens emotions, thoughts, memories of situations experienced and we want to know more.
At the same time, the careful reading of the image, its aesthetic/technical analysis can facilitate the understanding and memorization of concepts and events, ..... better if I stop here .....
Paolo

The message of hope the contemplative offers you, then, brother, is not that you need to find your way through the jungle of language and problems that today surround God: but that whether you understand or not, God loves you, is present in you, lives in you, dwells in you, calls you, saves you, and offers you an understanding and light which are like nothing you ever found in books or heard in sermons. As we head into the new year, I wish for health and happiness for you and your loved ones.
Let’s keep lifting one another up, sharing kindnesses and support, understanding that every one of us is valuable and has something important to share.
