. . it is time to be confused about this plant. I think I have finally decided to my satisfaction that it is, indeed, the harmless "cow parsnip", but it certainly resembles the poisonous giant hogweed. Cow parsnip, a dramatic plant. One that I want to worry about every time I see it, wondering whether it is the poisonous giant hogweed. But surely it is not. The latter can become truly giant.
