...wird er von Fotografen stets gefeiert. Am Sonntagmorgen des 13.11.2022 war das Stuttgarter Rössle als Charterfahrt des Modellbahnclub Öhringen einmal wieder unterwegs. Es ging von Öhringen über die Hohenlohebahn nach Heilbronn, von dort aus über die Frankenbahn, die Schusterbahn und die Filstalbahn nach Ulm und weiter über die Südbahn und die Bodenseegürtelbahn nach Lindau und am Abend wieder zurück. Während das Neckar- und Filstal noch bis Göppingen zugenebelt war, war bei der hier zu sehenden Fotostelle bei Kuchen bereits bestes Wetter.

Immer wieder stand die Außerfernbahn kurz vor dem Ende. Hier, im grenzüberschreitenden Abschnitt zwischen Pfronten-Steinach und Vils, gab es um die Jahrtausendwende herum sogar mehrere Jahre lang überhaupt keinen Zugverkehr. Heute hängt dort der Fahrdraht und Bilder von der 628-Vorserie wirken im Vergleich schon wieder richtig alt.
Eun Wunsch von mir ging endlich in Erfüllung, Burg Hohenzollern im Nebelmeer 😍
Es waren um die 20ig Fotografen dort, manche stellen sich direkt vor deine Nase und sitzen stundenlang auf den Felsen und blockieren diesen Spot. Hey Leute muss dass sein, kann man nicht mal abwechseln, haben wir doch eigentlich alle mal gelernt, es geht doch nicht um Leben oder Tod....? Jemand hat mir mal erzählt wenn du was erreichen möchtest musst du kämpfen und über Leichen gehen 😳 So sehen das wohl viele andere auch......Schade eigentlich! Ich hab den Moment trotzdem genossen und bin noch ganz verzaubert 😇

Das letzte Bild von "Bodo": Über drei Jahre lang war 223 013-4 / ER20-013 für den Bodensee Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund werbend auf der Allgäu-Magistrale (KBS 970) zwischen München und Lindau unterwegs. Viele Fotografen waren stets erfreut, wenn diese farbenfrohe, wenngleich auch recht schmutzanfällige Lokomotive vor einem ALX-Zug angetroffen werden konnte. Im vorliegenden Bild konnte sie also ein letztes Mal mit ihrem ALX / DPN 84108 bei Görwangs im Ostallgäu abgelichtet werden. Mach's gut!
The final picture of "Bodo": For more than three years has this locomotive been running on the KBS 970 between Munich and Lindau, always quite colourful and for most trainspotters it was a joy to take pictures of this advertising locomotive. In this last picture that I could take of 223 013-4 the Siemens EuroRunner was hauling ALX / DPB 84108 from Munich to Lindau at Lake Constance.

'I was on a beautiful sim only to receive an IM from Twain. I'd heard he was a total asshole. His first words to me were: 'Hi Blondie !' I was disgusted ! Luckily, his agent, Craig Rogalski, www.imdb.com/name/nm8226307/bio/ quickly sent me a personal IM and smoothed things over. We agreed on a one week shoot on my sim. I wouldn't have to interact with Twain at all !
The rest of the movie crew was very professional ! As for the movie itself. It seems to have been well directed. I enjoyed the plot and the homey storyline.

'I saw Arol's sim buried on a profile and I wanted to have a look. When I got there I was amazed at how beautiful and large it actually is ! So I approached Arol in the most polite way ... I, um , .. well ? Maybe not. She allowed my film crew a week to do the entire shoot. I chose Conrad L. Hall: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conrad_Hall : to be my cinematographer. Conrad has worked on films such as American Beauty and Cool Hand Luke .. he's brilliant !! It is true, this is not one of my standard films that feature a lot of derendering, dark, mysterious, atmospheric, depressing, nor a lack of storyline. As they say in the industry, I wanted to 'break an eye' and I did ! It may not do as well at the box office, .. but it is my film and I'm proud as punch ! Mit einem Ganzzug, bestehend aus nagelneuen 90ft InnoWaggons für Rundholztransporte, war die für die HLG fahrende 185 630 von Alpha Trains in Richtung Westen unterwegs, als ich sie beim Verlassen des Esslinger Tunnels im Altmühltal fotografieren konnte. Das Bild entstand am 14. Mai 2022, als einige Güterzüge baustellenbedingt den Weg über Ingolstadt und Treuchtlingen nahmen.
With a block train consisting of brand new 90ft InnoWagons for log transports, the 185 630 of Alpha Trains driving for HLG was heading west when I was able to photograph it leaving the Esslingen tunnel in the Altmühl valley. The picture was taken on 14 May 2022, when some goods trains took the route via Ingolstadt and Treuchtlingen due to construction work.
