Blick vom Gmundnerberg über den Traunsee. Die Aufnahme entstand im Oktober als das Alpenvorland vom jährlichen dichten Nebel bedeckt waren. Der einzige Weg dem Nebel zu entkommen war nach Süden in die Berge zu fahren.
View from Gmunderberg over Traunsee. The shot was taken in October when the plains of Upper Austria were covered in thick seasonal mist. The only way to escape that mist was to drive south to into the mountains.

'I haven't had much time to see Twain's movies lately, .. but this one really got to me. I was with a friend of mine, trying to eat pop corn, ya know ? ..and, .. 'So, Lobo and me went to see this movie and we were like, ya know, the acting of the main star, Mollie. She was like .. 'Wow'. I guess Twain's directing skills have improved quite a bit. He'll never be a musician like my Lobo is. And this windlight he uses has got to go ! But, .. yeh. Great movie ! I kept pulling Lobo's arm around me for comfort. It was sad .. and touching. Twain as the Director .. yes. He did seem to work with Mollie well. I can feel through out the film this constant searching for something 'more' .. the missing element. It is sad and touching. I admit .. I loved it.

'I am on the same sim as Twain is ..I'm working near by on the MGM Studio lot. I am dressed in only a rather skimpy swimsuit. Twain comes up to me and asks me if I could help him out and be in this photo for him. Now .. I had heard that Twain is a bit of a caution. Actually .. insane ! Here I am in the middle of a photo shoot ..almost naked. I was ready to turn him down ..then he tells me. 'You'll need to put more clothes on for this movie.' .. Well? I've never had a Director tell me I'd need more clothes ! So I thought that was a good sign. So I walk off the MGM studio lot and go with Twain to this remote area. I sit down on these pillows, all comfy. Twain tells me.. 'No! No pillows ! ' Twain throws out the pillows .. ? So I'm sitting there on the bare wood. He asks me to tell him a sad story .. and I start to tell him about when I was much younger, and how I had this puppy .. how it suddenly took ill, .. and .. and .. [waves her hands in front of her face ],... sorry, .. I , ... I just can't ... go there ... Anyways, .. I just felt so sad and isolated. Alone. Twain really knew how to draw out my emotions. The funny thing is most Directors are really very talky .. talk a lot. Twain was really very quiet. It must have taken about an hour to do this one scene alone. But he seemed rather 'normal' ? I'd work with him again. The pay wasn't that great. But he seemed a good Director and he gave me a coupon that has a $35.00 Linden value at any Perkins Restaurant. He let me watch the dailies of the filming as it proceeded which no other Director had ever let me do before. Seemed like a decent fellow. So .. yeh .. I'd work with him again. What else can I say?
He dresses in a formal suit on set everyday .. that's a bit much. Other than that no complaints.

Im vergangen Sommer ging es auch für mich endlich einmal in den Urlaub auf Fehmarn. Schon immer hat mich dabei insbesondere die markante Brücke beeindruckt, dementsprechend war mein Wunsch nach einem halbwegs vernünftigen Bild natürlich relativ groß ;) Dabei find der Urlaub sowohl bahn- als auch wettertechnisch alles andere als gut an: Der Strandexpress fuhr am Tag der Anreise falsch gedreht mit Steuerwagen voraus nach Burg und in den kommenden Tagen hielten sich dann auch noch dichte Wolken und Regenschauer über der Ostsee. Drei Tage vor Abreise wurde das Wetter dann aber Gott sei Dank immer besser, sodass ich an einem Freitagmorgen schon recht früh aufstand und an die bekannte Brücke fuhr. Meinen Standpunkt wählte ich bewusst am ehemaligen Fähranleger, einem jetzigen Yachthafen mitsamt Werft. Die Steinmole mitsamt passendem Schild nahm ich dann gleich mit aufs Bild. Da der IC ohnehin mit Südlok verkehrte, beschränkte ich mich auf die Regionalbahn nach Puttgarden, welche hier über die in diesem Sommer für Autos nur mit 30 km/h befahre Brücke rumpelte. Nachdem der Zug durch war konnte ich dann auch glücklich die Rückfahrt nach Burg zur Ferienbude antreten, achja, natürlich nicht ohne vorher Brötchen beim Inselbäcker mitzunehmen ;)

Immer wieder stand die Außerfernbahn kurz vor dem Ende. Hier, im grenzüberschreitenden Abschnitt zwischen Pfronten-Steinach und Vils, gab es um die Jahrtausendwende herum sogar mehrere Jahre lang überhaupt keinen Zugverkehr. Heute hängt dort der Fahrdraht und Bilder von der 628-Vorserie wirken im Vergleich schon wieder richtig alt.
Eun Wunsch von mir ging endlich in Erfüllung, Burg Hohenzollern im Nebelmeer 😍
Es waren um die 20ig Fotografen dort, manche stellen sich direkt vor deine Nase und sitzen stundenlang auf den Felsen und blockieren diesen Spot. Hey Leute muss dass sein, kann man nicht mal abwechseln, haben wir doch eigentlich alle mal gelernt, es geht doch nicht um Leben oder Tod....? Jemand hat mir mal erzählt wenn du was erreichen möchtest musst du kämpfen und über Leichen gehen 😳 So sehen das wohl viele andere auch......Schade eigentlich! Ich hab den Moment trotzdem genossen und bin noch ganz verzaubert 😇

Das letzte Bild von "Bodo": Über drei Jahre lang war 223 013-4 / ER20-013 für den Bodensee Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund werbend auf der Allgäu-Magistrale (KBS 970) zwischen München und Lindau unterwegs. Viele Fotografen waren stets erfreut, wenn diese farbenfrohe, wenngleich auch recht schmutzanfällige Lokomotive vor einem ALX-Zug angetroffen werden konnte. Im vorliegenden Bild konnte sie also ein letztes Mal mit ihrem ALX / DPN 84108 bei Görwangs im Ostallgäu abgelichtet werden. Mach's gut!
The final picture of "Bodo": For more than three years has this locomotive been running on the KBS 970 between Munich and Lindau, always quite colourful and for most trainspotters it was a joy to take pictures of this advertising locomotive. In this last picture that I could take of 223 013-4 the Siemens EuroRunner was hauling ALX / DPB 84108 from Munich to Lindau at Lake Constance.
