This idea came to me last night from the insistence that spacesick doesn't know anything about typography (to which I say he is a LIAR because his stuff always looks good) notably in this post.

 

PS - I know squat diddly about typography myself.

i've been working on it for a while, looks much better than before, but i don't really like it - many problems...

3D Typography render made in Cinema4D R11.5

 

I felt like making a "Comics" inspired work, I used a cool font called "Badaboom" that you can find here [link]

 

I used a soft global illumination, a Cell-render effect (which gives some cool borders to the scene elements), a distance depth of field, 4 lights, 3 soft shadows.

Render time : 40 minutes
