A widescreen shot of my wooden printers blocks, a legacy of printer's skills from years ago. They are brilliant objects and look great packed together in a frame.
An assortment of purchased wood blocks from eBay. Soon to be inserted in a chase, locked up and used to letterpress ???

Funny how the first four letter means mistake! I've just realised that I have used these stamps more times as a prop than it's actual use.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to view my photos and comment or Fave.
Been working on this font for the past three or so months. Finally finished it with three different styles. The font will sell as a hand-set font and you will be able to change colors, construct new letters and many other options.
This is a new tutorial I wrote, inspired by Compassion from Ginger Monkey Design.

A college project. I designed this poster for a series of typography lectures, fictional unfortunately!
It's easy to let things slip away. I've had times where I just flat out break down because of a grade that I didn't expect or the feeling of helplesness when I put so much effort into something and it didn't show. It happens. It's especially hard when you're competing with so many people to be the best at something. And there's a point where you have to reconsider where you're spending your tears. Some things in life you can't change. You can't stop life from being unpredictable. You can't stop yourself from losing concentration and having a bad day that affects you in school or somewhere else. But you can stop yourself from losing sight of your goals, where you came from and what the important things are in your life. My parents always tell me that when I look back at that one B I got on a test I'll laugh because it didn't dictate where I went in life. And they're right. Just don't let what you're trying to achieve slip away.
Typography project we had to do for Garth Walker at tech. We had to explore the streets of Durban for inspiration.
