Today is my 2 year canciversary. On April 15, 2019, my doc felt some weird lymph node swelling, ordered some additional blood work, and altered the course of my life. To say that my life has been a rollercoaster the last two years would be an insult to rollercoasters.
But here I am. And I am stronger. And I am healthier. And I am ready.
I am ready to get back to hobbies I enjoyed in the past and didn’t have time for. I am ready to try new things that I only dreamt about.
I am ready.

This was a surprise to me. After getting this photo into the computer, I noticed two distinct faces in these clouds. Easier to see large. This is not a Photoshop creation.

The creator of the universe works in mysterious ways.
But he uses a base ten counting system and likes round numbers.

Sorry if this is getting a little repetitive. I am just processing all of these, and seeing what works.
Two older men in the middle of the photograph are facing the camera. They are both wearing 'mountie-style' hats and sport bushy moustaches. The man sitting on the end of a log is smoking a cigarette. He is wearing a uniform jacket, but with no badges on it. His companion is resting one leg upon the end of a log and is resting an axe on the ground. He is wearing dungarees and a shirt. They are both leaning on a large pile of logs. The edge of the forest is visible in the background.
The amount of wood consumed in the war effort is impossible to estimate but the effect on the landscape was marked. Many of the other photographs in this collection illustrate this. It was many years before the natural and mature forests began to regain their former glory.

The Greater Penobscot Building is seen through the light court of the Penobscot Annex. Is this a gun sight or a bracket used to lift the building by helicopter?

Just for Halloween...
These two Jack-o-Lanterns were designed and carved by my daughter. The one with the big teeth is supposed to be some kind of carnivorous fish thing.
I photographed them in the dark with my camera controls set to full manual. Then I modified them a little in post using ACDSee 5 Pro exclusively. Some of the modifications included adding a water reflection effect to emphasize the sense that they are water creatures. Then, since I have fallen in love with ACDSee's Orton Effect, I added that as well, but increased the transparency to reduce the contrast and retain more detail. Overall, I think it gave the image a bit of a painterly feel without completely divorcing it from the photograph that it really is.
Happy Halloween!
These are the two sister-cousins ( a term I used when i was younger). Change of plans: I've decided to give the tan Draculaura repaint to my cousin, and keep the Cleo repaint for myself on the Rocky Disney VIP body.
#14/52 (Two or three)
Another week that didn't go quite as planned. In theory, this was too good an opportunity to miss, but trying to get my 6 year old son to stand still for a photo proved almost impossible, so not at all what I was hoping for... Catching him without food around his mouth or stuck in his teeth was a bonus though!
