I am so happy to be on the very first Sizzix Design Team. It has been a hard thing to keep a secret, I am glad to finally be able to tell. To celebrate, I made tutorial. My son loves cars, so I made a little wallhanging for his room. His reaction when seeing the big car was, 'car dirty', which I thought was a pretty good evaluation, because this car has been through a lot.
If you want to have a look there is a step-by-step tutorial on my blog (it is far too long to write everything here):

Estas cuentas las he realizado siguiendo el Rocky Path Tutorial.
No se pueden apreciar todos los detalles de las piezas debido a la falta de luz. Intentaré hacer mejores fotos cuando las monte.

I did this and my goal was to emulate the " A Scanner Darkly" in Photoshop without using brushes and doing hand coloring. Below is my method. Inside the red oval in the photo is the original.
1. Duplicate background layer.
2. Command/control + shfit + u to desaturate.
3. Duplicate "Layer 1" to "Layer 1 copy" (command/control + j with the layer chosen).
4 Invert "Layer 1 copy" (command/control + i)
5. With "Layer 1 copy" chosen run Filter > Blur > Motion blur at angle 23 and distance of 500 (this can be different depending on the photo.... experiment). This gives you a sketch look.
6. Holding the shift key choose "Layer 1" and "Layer 1 copy" and do command/control + g, putting the sketch effect into it's own group. You can name it sketch if you'd like.
7. Click the eye next to "Group 1" or "Sketch" if you've renamed it to turn it off.
8, Click back on the background layer and duplicate it again (command/control + j)
9. In CS2 and above run surface blur at Radius: 50 and Threshold: 50. This unifies the colors. Prior to CS2 try gaussian blur, but I'm not sure what settings.
10. With the "Background copy" still chosen on the Layers Panel use the keyboard shortcut command/control + ] to move the "Background copy" Layer above "Group 1". You can also click and drag it if you insist on using the mouse.
11. Put the top "Background copy" layer in multiply mode and click and turn ON the eye next to "Group 1". You should now have a sketchy photoish piece. But there's more because we need to get those lines like a comicbook drawing.
12. Holding the option/alt key down, from the Layers Panel's adjustment layer menu add a posterize adjustment layer. The option/alt key brings up a requester and you should check the "Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask." This clips this layer to the layer immediately below it, the "Background copy." Set the levels at 8 on the next requester and click OK.
13. Now before you click anything else go Edit > Fill and choose black filling the adjustment layer's mask with black, taking away the affect.
14. Now, with the adjustment layer's mask still chosen, Go Filter > Noise > Add Noise and move the slider all the way to the right. I chose gaussian. This softens the edges of the edges.
15. Lastly, go the the adjustment layer menu again add a "Photo Filter" adjustment layer and choose "Cooling Filter (80)" or warming filter, whichever you prefer.
You're done. Now the methods here opens up many possibilites. think about it.
