I've had several people ask off and on about how to do rounded corners. I've done it several ways in the past. However, this is a technique I discovered several months ago and have been using it ever since. It's so easy and fast, once you do it a few times it literally takes seconds to do.

I have everything I talk about in this tutorial circled in bright green.

Dan Lebowitz - Tiptoe Out the Back

This tutorial is NOT mine.

This will help me or you if you ever wondered how to take the class eye out of a bratzillaz.

1: make sure you have the right size eye.

Details on top.

2.Heat the eye with a blowdryer. Get something like a small tiny screwdriver to pull eye out. Next enter your eyes inside the head and your done!

Hope u like it. :) hope this is handy.

This is a little tutorial I whipped up!

Experimentem :))

I'm giving this away here.

You can also make one!

Freshly Picked has a great tutorial on making a coin purse.

However, I didn't have oilcloth on hand, so I made mine with quilting cotton, batting and a lining. These are my modifications to her tutorial. Please still refer to her instructions for basic construction technique as my pictures only show how I deviated from her tutorial.

{Tutorial will be posted 1/8/11}

Release the metal spring inside the rectangular hole. Some people use a thin crochet hook to do it but, since i had none, i used a clip and bent it´s tip. I grabbed the spring with the clip and pushed up, carefuly, till i got it loose.

I've had a few emails now about how I take my photos. Now, I'm not a photography expert. I mean, I'm really, really, really not a photography expert. I don't even know what apeture means, and my camera is a point-and-shoot model. The things I do know, I've learnt from reading how-to's on the 'net, and so I thought I'd share with you the number one thing that I use when I take photos:

My light box.

Those things can be expensive (you're looking at about $100-$300 dollars for a store-bought one), so I decided to make my own. Basically it's just a box that you put your object into, shine light at it, and snap away. Couldn't be easier, right? And the best thing about my light box is it costs less than $15!

This is my very first tutorial, and I hope you find it useful (and comprehensible! I worry about how readable the explanation cards are - you'll have to give me some feedback on that, since this is the first tutorial I've ever made, I'm fairly new to the process.)

And here you get the second part of my RevoluzZza easter decoration tutorial: blog.revoluzzza.com/?p=1350

I hope you'll enjoy it and sew many, many cute little birdies :-)

Jewellery was a big part of Elizabethan Tudor fashion, especially for those who were rich and important. It showed both their wealth and status. Jewellery was also used to convey political messages, display religious beliefs and to remind people of friends and relatives who have died. Jewellery in Tudor times was not widespread and is essentially worn by the upper classes and those who could afford such finery.

Tudor bracelets tended to be made out of silver or gold and decorated with precious stones. Strands of pearls could also be wrapped around the wrist. The Elizabethan cuff is reminiscent of bracelets of the era. A wide cuff - elaborate, luxurious and intricately woven. A central panel of bezelled large beads form a bold focal point to the cuff. Eminently suited to the delicate wrists of the Elizabethan Tudor lady of the upper classes.
