Turning thirty. I feel twenty.

This is one of the first steps to my fathers lathe turnings. He has drawn circles on a board and glued faceplates (peices that attach to the lathe) in the center of the circle. When everything dries he will cut the circles out, attach the piece to the lathe and turn a wonderfull piece out of it. I will have to get some photos of a finish product up here soon.

HSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, the tallest residential building in the EU and the second tallest residential building in Europe, after the 264 metre (866 ft) Triumph Palace in Moscow.
