Illuminated tunnel under the tracks of the main station in the direction of Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer,
LED spotlights were placed below and to the side of the steel arches on both sides and aligned so that the grazing light effect accentuates the particular steel construction and steel rivets.
Passed several times under this tunnel and the combination of turquoise_Orange colours called my attention and thought it was worth a shot.
Tuolumne Grove is a giant sequoia grove located near Crane Flat in Yosemite National Park, at the southeastern edge of the Tuolumne River watershed. It is about 16 miles (26 km) west of Yosemite Village on Tioga Pass Road. The grove contains many conifers, including a few Sequoiadendron giganteum as well as Abies concolor and Pinus lambertiana.
The grove hosts about six visible giant sequoias amongst a dense understory of dogwood. The grove also features the "Dead Giant", a fallen giant sequoia with a stagecoach-sized tunnel cut through it.
A glorious afternoon at Yosemite National Park.

The Thames Tunnel is an underwater tunnel beneath the River Thames, built between 1825 and 1843. It measures 11m wide by 6m high and is about 400m long. It was the first tunnel known to have been constructed successfully underneath a navigable river. It was used by pedestrians until it became part of the London Overground railway network.
The ominously-named Headstone Tunnel (1863) in Monsal Dale, Derbyshire, UK is an abandoned 490 metre railway tunnel beneath Monsal Head. Since 2011 It has formed part of a cycle trail and footpath through the Peak District National Park.
To survive, you've got to keep wheedling your way. You can't just sit there and fight against odds when it's not going to work. You have to turn a corner, dig a hole, go through a tunnel - and find a way to keep moving.

Papa,
7 jaar geleden
Het lijkt een zee van tijd...
Maar soms voelt het gelijk gisteren
En is er enkel
eenzaamheid.
Ik weet we moeten door,
Zonder jou,
Maar de herinnering blijft
Ik blijf je beeld trouw...
Liefs van je dochter

Spent the evening shooting night photos in Yosemite a few days ago. So much fun. So many opportunities. It was the first time I ever had Tunnel view to myself. Kinda trippy in fact.
In the spring of 1998, BNSF daylighted Sunset Tunnel, also known as the 1,928-foot Tunnel 2 between Guernsey and Wendover, Wyoming. The wood-lined tunnel on this 9-mile segment of railroad was originally built by the CB&Q in 1915 and was one of three tunnels on the line. Besides the massive amount of work to remove the tunnel, BNSF also had to stabilize the soft earthen boundaries of the excavation with a concrete mixture sprayed to the sides of the cut, giving the scenery a strange new look. It also gave the railroad a lengthened Stokes siding to the east. On June 21, 2019, an eastbound BNSF coal train heads through the huge cut in a view from Skyline Drive overpass located in Guernsey State Park.
