Debuted these Cars-tuned characters at the 2012 Long Beach Comic-Con at the LUGOLA booth. I have more, but they're kinda...scary. Especially the female ones - they look like guys in drag.
The last time I visited Tsukiji Fish Market was back in the Winter of 2006, and I remember I had just got my 50/1.4 lens, using it on a 30D body, running around snapping everything I saw. This time it was with a Rollei and more of a relaxed stroll through the narrow paths, trying to avoid the electric karts, observing the people who work there and trying to capture a few portraits. Surprisingly, most were so accomodating and probably more curious about the Rollei in my hand as I was about the giant tunas. This fellow kindly posed for a photo as his boss glimpsed the Rollei and told him to get on with his work :)

no crop.. which is pretty damn good considering I was using a 2 sec self timer and just a little table tripod! I love the guitar, this is a cheap classical accoustic my cousin let me have, but it works just fine. =)
This is a small tuning mod containing two painted, old-school style fueltanks and a custom exhaust pipe for Scania Next-Gen trucks. For 6x2 chassis.

ALCo RSC2 (built 1948) was parked at Tunes in April 1996. Tunes is a junction on the singletrack mainline from Barreiro to Faro. The Lagos branch passes in front of the locomotive.

For the eleventh Brick of Christmas, Dan Walker gave to me
eleven jumpers twisting,
and a trans-red cone to top off my tree.
Dan created a mini challenge for Steel City LUG entitled "The Twelve Bricks of Christmas." He hand picked 12 elements that need to be in one or twelve builds. I chose to take a literal approach to the challenge. Stay tuned...
