Verdict: I think I need to work on improving the beef next time for this, but the egpplant was incredibly good with this curry.

Beef, eggplant, red chilli, coriander, star anise, cloves, cardamom, cassia, coconut cream, lemongrass, tamarind paste, cumin seeds, ginger, fennel seeds, garlic, and tumeric.

A sublime and simple pleasure on a chilly autumn afternoon before the Trolley Dances.

Fujian Lamb Curry

How does this look for one fabric for the charms?

I wasn't very much into AMH's fabric as a whole (although I do love a lot of the prints VERY much!) until I saw this beauty. Now I kind of NEED one just like it.

Loulouthi Crossing Paths Tumeric

tumeric, paprika, garam masala, coriander, cumin, salt, lemon juice,

I have labmates from Turkey and Iran, and the other day they were asking me where they could find turmeric. They said they were having trouble finding it at their local supermarkets.

I took this photo as proof that a) it's commonly sold in most American supermarkets (this was in Wegmans, but I've seen it elsewhere) and b) lots of Americans pronounce 'turmeric' without the first 'r'.

Red pepper, yellow pepper, sugar snap peas, a handful of walnuts, a large carrot, and a large courgette, stir fried for 5 minutes in my own curry sauce. Served with boiled brown rice with tumeric, garnished with a few mint leaves.

lets eat! We had doro wat (chicken with a lot of red onions and spices, one hot spice called berberi) , alecha wat (I used beef and cooked until tender and added tumeric at the end for the coloring), dinitch wat (potatoes and carrots), shiro wat (this is their main wat eaten daily), injera (flat sour bread), dabo (white bread), cabbage, miser wat (orange lentils).

Tumeric and paprika ready for the curry.

with beet juice, tumeric, onion skins and red wine.

I really like the yellow but the mustard/tumeric/chili powder is so stinky, plus I boiled it over the stove, yuck mess

stickers will not stick, my lame attempt at art

I only need a few more, so not going to try to make them art, I actually like the natural mottled look, and the broken ones are lunch today!

Thai Sabai Organic Restaurant Ratchada

Dyed with food-tumeric for yellow, beets for red, blueberries & raspberries for purple, coffee for brown, kale for light green. Used tape & rubber bands for stripes. Started with brown eggs.

peanut oil, mustard seed, onion, jalapeno pepper, garlic, ginger, tumeric -- with tomato, carrot, and red cabbage added

This is actually a completely incorrect way to store spices, but they look so good. Who can resist?

Pan roasted brussels with fresh tumeric and coriander

Unpasteurized pommegranate juice

They use Modern! Fancy! Chemicals! now instead of tumeric, poppies, and mint to dye the leather, but the pigeon shit is still the best stuff to use for curing. That is so bogus.
