Cooked 27/11/2009. Wild and basmatic rice mixed with portobello mushrooms roughly broken into chunks by hand for a different presentation, thinly sliced capsium and onion, topped with fresh basil leaves from the herb garden.

Curry chicken pot pie (http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/living/food/13499367.htm) - "home made" curry powder. Ground chili, cumin, coriander and tumeric.
粥, 흰죽, cháo, congee for all! y'all getting sick, go eat it stop spreading germs. Get coughed on in class all the time. My porridge comes with Sage and oregano for respiratory antibacterial qualities, thyme for antiseptic and expectorant, rosemary for anti-inflammatory, tumeric for the same things but adds a nice yellow color cuz regular white porridge looks so plain. Also some shredded pork and fish sauce to cancel the blandness. Try it! Now!

Day 2
Some of the fruits and veggies for sale at the Salcedo Market in Makati. The market is open only on Saturdays. I felt like a kid in a candy store here. There was so much to see, take pictures of and taste! I even got some dirty ice cream :)
My Mom and I went here with her friend to go shopping for our lunch which was later prepared back at her place.
Peanuts are not only a great snack, but when grounded can be used in tasty soups. My Creamy Chicken Peanut Soup goes with everything and the addition of the Philadelphia cream cheese makes it creamier and tasty as well.
My first time making scrambled tofu with tumeric I added a bit too much of the tumeric so it was bright yellow haha. On top are sauted mushrooms and onions with some garlic ketchup and hot sauce.
I love doing these type ones ~ so easy. Meanwhile some angst about the upcoming X!!

Golden Quinoa Burger Salad: salad leaves, quinoa with apricot, green lentils, sweet-sour cucumber, marinated carrots, roasted pumpkin, stewed leek, oven-baked golden quinoa burgers, spicy mango chutney, alfalfa sprouts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds; with a creamy tumeric and curry dressing
whipped soap bars. I used a combo of cocoa powder, cinnamon and tumeric for the colouring of these soap bars.
Deep-fried and ready to eat! That weird colored sauce is a store-bought cilantro chutney. The samosa kind of cast a shadow on the chutney, making it look darker than it really it.
