This shot was taken on the dock next to the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship. My sister and her husband thought it would be funny if we read "tug" as a verb (and a suggestion) instead of a noun. I digitally cross-processed the shot, reduced the saturation, and added some texturing as I'm want to do.
Also, I thought this would be a nice change from some of the other shots I've posted here.

I got caught by Kerwood Bridge, so I snapped a shot off. It's a little shaky, getting a little too dark. I need to remember to bump up to 400 ISO.
It's amazing how fast an in control the tug can move the barge through the small opening of the bridge. They've been going through a lot, whenever the tide is high enough to dredge. Day and night because they have a deadline ending soon.
The Neah Bay has been assigned to work the St Clair River this year during ice jam season. Her home port is Cleveland, OH.
Tug boats on the Hudson River in Albany, New York spin ships around and send them back down the river to New York City. Tugs complete their task and then go back to their docks. Tugs move along the shipping channel. If you're fishing for striped bass next the shipping channel the tug will diesel by and throw you a big wave..
