When I was a kid. My friends and me had a habit to climb a high tree, we call the high tree "Aglik" in our native language. We would be happy & proud if we can reach the highest level of the trunk. We can see everywhere from above. Back in the day, we didn't have high building or house.
Now, when I try to represented the pun of trunk. I add the concept with my childhood story.
In zoology, trunk (or proboscis) is a fusion of the nose and upper lip, elongated and specialized to become the elephant's most important and versatile appendage.
In botany, trunk (or bole) refers to the main structural member of a tree that supports the branches and is supported by and directly attached to the roots.

I used three flashlights to lit this tree trunk, and I jumped around in the background with my flash to lighten the leaves during the long exposure.
My favourite addition to the new One Man's Dream is Walt's travel trunk, which he used during his voyages in the 1920's and 30's. I thought this image fit well into my own life, seeing how I just planned my first voyage down to Disneyland from September 2-5.

Was so fascinated by the furry texture of this old trunk that I never got around to reading the info card that explained what it was, and why it was in that historical museum.
Guess I'll just have to go back someday and find out.

While out to a Sunday afternoon barbecue in one of the few remaining forests near Bucharest, i saw this odd looking tree. The burning red pattern on its trunk caught my eye and i fell it worked well with the rest of the scenery.
Antique Chinese Painted Trunk
Exceptional painting on this antique Chinese trunk. The elaborately painted designs and scenes include a figural royal court in three panels. The vibrant colors of red, yellow, green and orange are painted on the brown wooden surface causing their hues to be somewhat muted. Painted scenes are on the front and the two sides, with the back unpainted. The chest is constructed on a base with a few carvings. The lunar shaped lock is made of brass. The top of the chest opens to reveal the stained interior. Trunks offer great storage for blankets, pillows and other items and chests make excellent coffee tables or placed at the foot of a bed.
