This is a large imposing trunk on Whaling Station on the north side of Hornby Island, British Columbia. I pushed the saturation a bit to get the red up. Another part of this same log has an interesting texture, visible in this photo. Still another part of this same log I think looks a lot like the head of a sleeping dragon.

I attached the trunk of my tree to a single piece of foliage. Then I laid the leafy circle on top of the single leaf on top of the trunk. Then I fastened it into place with a 3-leaf plant; the leaves of the plant trapped the circle into place.
For the dark green tree, I didn't have a matching colored plant to put on top. I sat the dark green leaf circle onto a single dark green leaf, which I had attached to a round, 4x4 dark green circle plate, which helped to fill in the middle of the tree. Then I just sat the leafy circle on top, and tried to hook it into the single leaf that was attached to the trunk. It was fairly stable, but not perfect.
First night out imaging after cloudy/rainy weather in the UK for the last 2 months.
I captured the Elephant Trunk Nebula in Cepheus. This nebula is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust. The bright rim is the surface of the dark cloud being ionised by the bright blue start HD 206267.
Captured with my William Optics FLT 91 and 6AIII 0.8x reducer over a 3h30m session.
ZWO 2600MC Pro camera, Optolong L-Ultimate 2" filter.

One of Cardiff Canton's coal distribution Class 37/0s was heading for Toton when recorded passing Kingsbury with the SX 6D03 Speedlink Coal [SCN] inter-yard trunk service, the 09:04 from Washwood Heath Yard. As well as the MGR hoppers at the front of the train, there were sets of both loaded [from South Wales] and empty HEA hoppers in the mixed consist.

Grand Trunk Heritage Unit #8952 seen here leading E251 over the pond here in Davisburg. Many Railfans were here to see this beautiful unit roll across the pond.
Target:Elephant's Trunk Nebula, IC 1396, a dense globule set within an ionised gas region 2400 light years away.
Location:15/07/21, St Helens, UK, Bortle 8, no Moon, imaged during astro twilight.
Aquisition:70x 120s iso800 Total Integration 140min.
Equipment:Altair 60EDF, 1x Flat60, Skywatcher AZ-GTi, Canon 1200D (asto modified), Skytech CLS-CCD filter.
Guiding:Altair 32mini guidescope with GPCAMAR0130M.
Software:Astroberry, KStars, Ekos, PHD2 on RPi4.
Processing:Affinity Photo, Siril, Starnet++.
Memories:Originally planned as a two night project, decided to disgard frames from the first night as not satisfied with the framing from that session. Less data but a more pleasing framing from just the second nights data.
Grand Trunk 6224 switches out customers at Port Hope, ON beside the former Grand Trunk station opened in 1856. The station is now owned by VIA Rail Canada but Ganaraska Model railroad takes care of the old station with a model train layout in the west side of the station. March 7 2022

I liked the twisting texture of this tree trunk, and it was an excuse to show off the bright blue sky.
What are these trees anyway?
Near Tavira, Algarve
Bokeh panorama in Mercator projection made up of 5 columns and 6 lines (focal length: 55mm(FF), aperture: F1.8). The final image is a 4X3 crop of the panorama.
The Trunk Space is a gallery / theatre / music venue / eclectic place, that fits in perfectly on Grand Avenue. But the coolest thing about it has to be the mural on the side of the building. Love this one!
