shot through a very dirty window in the Duderstadt Center using TrueHDR. This is, in fact, about what noon in Michigan in December looks like: low clouds, long shadows, not enough snow, almost no one walking around.

other than using TrueHDR and shooting through a grimy window, this has had no other processing. weird, eh?

I took this on the way back from Manly this afternoon. A lovely touch!

Image Processing

This was taken using the TrueHDR app on my iPhone 3GS.

This is my first attempt at producing an HDR photo.

I did not have my tripod with me so used the wall on the banks of the Thames.

1st May 2008 was a day of change as elections had been taking place for the new Mayor of London.

I could have done with some more moody clouds but there you are you have to play with the cards dealt.

Maybe next time ?

I'm working at a Festival doing the sound today so I've got no time to go out and take a nice landscape photo unfortunately. I thought I would give you an insight into my work life though instead.

Tone mapped with TrueHDR.

Our front gate at sunset; a tough time to get a detailed shot. TrueHDR pulled it off, with some nice detail. Also threw some TiltShift Gen in for dramatic effect. Another example of how the iPhone 3GS, with all of it's photo apps and tools, can be a very effective camera. With the frame around this, "on Black" it's art. Thank you FD's Flickr tools, as well.
