8" x 8" trivets. Stained glass, mirror glass, ball chain and a few little silver flowers and hearts.
We're getting there! :)
Hope to grout these two trivets tomorrow morning. Christmas is coming... better hurry up! :)
8" x 8" trivet made mostly from stained glass and mirror offcuts that I purchased several years ago. I'll probably grout with black... but am unsure what it will look like in the center where it's only mirror tiles.
My husband made the beautiful frames... but you can't see them well here. I'll take a side picture when they are finished.
This is the 2nd of 5 to make before Christmas... coming along. :)
This cute little trivet/pot holder/hot pad was lovingly made by me with strips of clean, upcycled fabrics. Each trivet uses up to a yard of fabric. I then crochet & steam press them into these super sturdy trivets- perfect for protecting surfaces from hot dishes, pots and pans; great for your next indoor/outdoor picnic, potluck or tea party.

For my mom's birthday!
I started with Ayumi's Superbuzzy Watermelon Popsicle, and added some patchwork to make a new trivet/potholder with Insul-Brite. Summersville, a red/pink solid, and a Riley Blake recipe fabric finish the top, and the binding is an older Timeless Treasures print.
I'm quite happy with how this turned out although next time I would use a dark blue or black grout to really make the colours pop.
8" x 8" trivet made mostly from stained glass and mirror offcuts that I purchased several years ago. There are two sizes of ball chain to fill in the cracks, too. :)

Christmas Tree Fused Art Glass Trivet with dark green Christmas trees decorated with dichroic glass ornaments.
had some leftover epoxy while making another project so I used this little trivet.
the background is just plain cardstock I had dripped alcohol inks on then rubbed on some gold pearl-ex. I used a rubber stamp then a glu stick. I think the clarity of the image is due to the thin tg-it was from a small round tabletop.
My daughter's Grandmother chose her favorite picture of mine and had these ... a glass trivet and cutting board, made for me. They came just today. They are awesome. I Love Them! :) :) :)
