First experiment with a by sound triggered flash.

ISO 160, 1 s, f/14

Stylidium (also known as triggerplants or trigger plants) is a genus of dicotyledonous plants that belong to the family Stylidiaceae. The genus name Stylidium is derived from the Greek στύλος or stylos (column or pillar), which refers to the distinctive reproductive structure that its flowers possess.[1] Pollination is achieved through the use of the sensitive "trigger", which comprises the male and female reproductive organs fused into a floral column that snaps forward quickly in response to touch, harmlessly covering the insect in pollen. Most of the approximately 300 species are only found in Australia, making it the fifth largest genus in that country.

I am not the driver here, I was the passenger. The kids were in the back seat, and when I was turning around to take a picture, I bumped the camera icon, and wound up with this photo. I liked it right away - so a happy mistake :-)

Fedex dropped off a package of toys from Hong Kong this morning. I think we need another DIY night Aaron :)

These are the new Cactus V2s triggers. I've only played around with them a little bit so far but I'm impressed. Range is very good and haven't had a single misfire.
