This is the last time Trigger really fit in my lap. This is February 2011. He is 3 months old in this picture.

Triggering Growth: revitalizing the economic landscape through phasing for a corporate headquarters
The site location of former Pruitt-Igoe remains an untouched, historic preservation of the historic 1972 housing complex catastrophe. The surrounding site north of St. Louis serves as a reminder of the physical and sociological demise of the city. In effect, the economic collapse and population withdrawal of St. Louis impacted the site location. Importantly, by triggering economic stimulus, the city and site of the once Pruitt-Igoe can uplift itself by densifying its population. Through a series of phases, this proposal jumpstarts the population density of the site by incorporating a corporation headquarters to bring employment and revenue to the surrounding area. Thus, with an increased city density, the population will require adjacent commercial and housing structures; mixed-use buildings structures will be implemented around the surrounding site with commercial retail being oriented along Cass and Jefferson Avenue. With an increased density, infill housing should be implemented to the east of the site. In addition, a center green space will be implemented to improve the aesthetics of the site, creating a pleasant environment to maintain the increasing density. Ultimately, this proposal incorporates regeneration for St. Louis’ economic landscape; by integrating a series of phases beginning with the implementation for a corporate headquarters, a spark will ignite for revitalizing the sociological downfall of former Pruitt-Igoe.
