The church youth held a tricky-tray fundraiser this weekend.

Ensignbus/London Transport RT8 (FXT183) leads Ensignbus Enviro 200 714 (YN62AOH) on Route 31 towards Brentwood Station near Bishops Hall Estate on the final day of Ensignbus operation in Brentwood. This route was meant to be covered twice by the RT, but the trees meant we daren't do it another time after the first rounder!

I remember seeing these as a kid...from the box:

Place one Tricky Dog on a smooth surface. Push the other Tricky Dog up to it from behind, or sweep the second Tricky Dog in a half circle around the first one. Watch them twirl!

Richard III at Middleham Castle. A re-post of an earlier shot but at a much high res.

Tricky to frame. Hopefully you can forgive it its wonkiness.

One tool that makes lighting scenarios easier to deal with is a good light meter, its is not that the meter in cameras are not accurate your trying to limit the time behind the camera in sub zero temperatures.

When working in sub zero temps just the act of putting the camera up to your face is challenge, When working under these conditions it is wise to make all your exposure calculations with a hand held light meter to limit your time with the camera, the danger here is the frost building up on the camera from your breath hindering your view on both the view finder and rear screen. I f this does happen use a soft brush such as a soft paint brush to remove it.

When working with gloves on makes making adjustments is a cumbersome task. Making adjustments without the camera in front of your face is much easier,

Using the live view feature is one option if you are on a tripod, keep in mind in extreme cold the Battery life is shortened and drops off fast once you reach 50%. Keep an eye on the battery levels. In the event the battery starts to drop fast put a new battery in then place the used battery in you inside pocket to revive it.

Approaching the pass......!!!

Tricky subjects as they almost never stop moving and they react so fast when they hear the shutter click!

It was tricky getting this lined up and tacked, and then once I got going the flame was too ferocious, then some flux fell on the hose and started burning it, and then I finally got in the swing of things it was all over. Let's see what it looks like once I get this flux off.

This is not a skirt . . . it’s a dress. Tricky, huh?

Also tricky: getting out of the car a dozen times a day in this dress. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I wore underwear. I was done with lady-like exits by 11 a.m.

Reminded me of those photos of Nixon giving the victory sign.

Whilst a gentle updraft on the cliffs is great for gliding when the wind becomes strong it makes landing much more difficult.

Snow is notoriously tricky. Reflected-light metering pointed at the snow is useless. Incident metering is better. Really, metering off a gray card and comparing to the incident reading is the only way to go.

WOW this made it to explore!

Tricky to get the angles and framing right in this tight corner.
