Het jaar 2025 werd afgetrapt met eindelijk weer eens wat zonuren. Daarom stond op de derde dag van 2025 een uitstapje naar Duitsland op de planning.

Op de koude ochtend van vrijdag 3 januari konden meerdere foto's worden geschoten van de RB37 tussen Krefeld Hbf en Neuss Hbf. De tweede rit met op kop de 111 054 passeerde de 6 Nederlandse fotografen als RB37 richting Neuss Hbf.

Inmiddels is de 111 054 uitgewisseld met de 185 063 in PRESS kleurstelling. Sinds 8 januari weer een andere loc, dit keer de 111 174.

Ook dinsdag 18 februari was een dag met veelal strakblauwe luchten. Hier werd wederom goed gebruik van gemaakt en kon er deze keer weer een andere loc met andere stam worden afgestreept op de RB37.

Tijdens mijn derde bezoek in 2025 aan deze lijn kon namelijk de 111 143 met 2 Dosto-rijtuigen worden gefotografeerd in Bösinghoven. Deze samenstelling is deze week als test op de RB37 te zien. Vorig jaar had ik al op deze plek gestaan, toen met de 110 128 en N-wagens. Om 16:16 passeerde de RB37 89421 de Nederlandse fotografen onderweg naar Neuss Hbf.

No luck in this dive. Returning empty handed. Or should I say empty beaked???

Een uur later wisselde de Duitser en wij van stek, wat nu bleek een goede keuze. Zoals je ziet lag de stek achter in de schaduw. Het was bij ons ook nog spannend. We zagen met de seconde de zon zwakker worden en de schaduwen oprukken. Toen bleek dat de trein met +3 reed, dacht ik dat hij niet zou halen.

TRI 111 054 met 3 n-rijtuigen als trein 89421 van Krefeld Hbf naar Neuss Hbf, in het allerlaatste licht langs Bösinghoven.

TRI 111 054 (Henschel, 1976) met RB 37 langs Kaarst, met de loc richting Neuss. Met polarisatiefilter in verband met een wel heel fel zonnetje.

Deutsch: TRI 111 054 (Henschel, 1976) mit RB 37, Lok richtung Neuss. Aufnahme mit Polarisationsfilter wegen einer wohl sehr strahlenden Sonne.
