Old and scarred, but holding firm. This image reminds me of social and political conditions, where the strong and powerful are threatening the weak and powerless and the need for sturdy and firm opposition to the forces that seek dominion over the weak.
It’s great - no more 7am starts for me, so once again Katie and I are leaving the house together in the AM. Here Katie is standing on a treetrunk being careful not to waken the hobo sleeping nearby. She’s wearing a Pringle silk blouse, Falke tights, and Bronx shoes.
I love the colours on snowgums (Eucalyptus pauciflora). Couldn't help pushing the colours a bit, just to see what they'd be like...
Radiating branches make a star pattern in the exposed rings of this tree trunk. Never saw anything like this before.
