Crisp and frozen tree tops. I’ve resolved to buy some gloves. It’s beautiful out but my fingers are so cold I can hardly work the camera.
Not getting out much what with other commitments or poor weather for photography. It's either scorching blue skies or pelting rain and hail with deep gloomy grey skies.
One from a while ago during a frosty misty morning on the banks of Loch Eil.

Taken down at the first lake at the community garden today. It really is a lovely spot.

This image generated in PS CC using render trees and flame on various layers. Then with an oil painting finish. No photographs were used in its construction.
And a nod to my Flickr friend JH from whom I took some inspiration with his recent photo "Behind the tree line"

Since I need some winter images for a proper photo calendar i looked for something worth capturing during those days when we had at least a little bit of snow.
Actually the amount of snow we had wasn’t even enough to cover the grass on this hill, so I cloned out hundreds of grass blades, which was great fun.
Not.

Tree sparrow (Passer montanus) perched on a branch and looking around.
Mazurek (Passer montanus) siedzący na gałęzi i rozglądający się.
I’m thinking this tree may very well be in its third century. Imagine if it had a brain and could see and hear what goes on. Think of all the scenes, the people and animals, the drama, just the everyday life it’s silently witnessed!
Andy Rooney always asked - did you ever wonder?
Near Tomingely, NSW, Australia, September 2015. Off the road to Goobang National Park. A farmers field with cows and a single tree, dusk settling.
on the Hohe Straße (high road), a historical trade road between Maintal-Bischofsheim and Niederdorfelden). The so-called „Hohe Straße“ (High road) is a part of the historic road „Via Regia“.
The Via Regia ran west-east through the centre of the Holy Roman Empire, from the Rhine at Mainz to Frankfurt, continuing along Hanau, Eisenach, Erfurt to Leipzig.
