I had to do a black and white photo to be artistic, although I don't think this is particularly inspiring.

Bois d'arc tree bearing a plentiful crop of "horse apples" (not to be confused with "road apples").
A tree I drive by often. I like the way it looks sitting by itself in a large field. This is the same tree as in www.flickr.com/photos/brilesb/2394154173/

I was reminded of this place from some excellent shots taken by Neo7Geo , so I thought I would go up and take a look for myself. It didn't disappoint, some interesting shots to be taken up there.

A long range shot of some Welsh Woodland lit up magnificently last week.
A crop from a much bigger 3:2 shot that I think works better in High Res on a big screen. This is the abridged version for the mobile generation.
Chimp, I promise, I'm not turning into you. ;)
Obviously, I'm once again way behind on flickr this week. I've got photos sitting in my camera that need to be uploaded, streams to go through. Again. So, here we are, same as last week!(or was it the week before?) This one isn't as good, but I think that can be forgiven considering I shot this as we breezed past going 65 mph.

The Frazinus Quadrangulata is known as the Blue Ash Tree. Its native range is in North America from Michigan south to Arkansas and Tennessee. The height is about 50 to 75 feet once fully grown and can spread from 35 to 60 feet wide. It blooms between April to May and is usually a purple accent color. It needs very little maintenance and is tolerance of deer and droughts. It grows easily in dry to medium wet, well-drained soils. This is considered to be one of the best ashes for dry sites. The wood of blue ash is commonly used to products including tool handles and furniture. One major problem with this tree is the Emerald Ash Borer. The borer will kill an ash tree typically within 3 to 5 years after infestation. This pest is hard to kill off due to the fact that it feeds under the bark and bores into the wood.

Our 'Christmas trees" are a pretty sight this year. So called "Christmas tree" due to the colours of the flowers and that it flowers this time of the year.

This Place is important to me because I go here to buy cheap things I want
and it's all a dollar.
Tree and a bit for Tree-mendous Tuesday. Let's hope Wet-Wednesday is better because today was pretty shit. Thankfully not every day we nearly burn down the whole house.
There's something about the juxtaposition of huge rocks and colorful trees... Cheers.
