Redwoods Treehouse Restaurant.

We FINALLY found it! :)

I want to live here... well maybe not this one, but you've gota love treehouses

The Alnwick Gardens treehouse is huge. This is just a small section of the walkway with a rope bridge on the left. There's a cafe and restaurant up there as well! Look for the tree growing through the floor.

My photographs of Peter Bahouth's (amazing!!) tree houses were featured in Jane Field-Lewis' latest book 'My Cool Shed' (London, 2012), after which they then went on to go viral (many times over), become an Air Bnb sensation and as of Jan 2016 have now been declared the "Most Desired Rental in the World'.

The treehouse at Alnwick castle. It sounds cooler than it is, basically there's a restaurant inside.

I am nearing the end of these x-pro holga shots from Burning Man. Really.

I’ve passed this treehouse countless times and appreciated its whimsy, but I’m pretty sure this was the first time I’ve actually taken a picture of it. The fallen leaves inspired me to find an angle that could do it justice. Thankfully, there was no car parked in the spot where I need to be.

Works been quite quiet over the past week so i took a few hours off this afternoon. I ended up down Rivacre Valley and had a bit of an explore around the small paths through the Bluebells.

Long Beach, CA - I photographed these pieces of jewelry for Tangerine Treehouse, an independent maker here in Long Beach.

The setup was pretty simple but allowed for a nice studio look. The pieces were suspended above a flexed piece of matboard that created a cyclodrome and gradient. Light source was a single small softbox with a compact mirror on the bottom to add a little kick...

I've lived here for about 3 years and never knew this treehouse was in a yard behind me until today. This place is like a world away from the heavy traffic on Beach Blvd. a few feet away.

An amazing treehouse made from the natural tree and burls. I climbed to the top!

John Lewis treehouse

John Lewis and Quiet Mark, the Noise Abatement Society's standard, will open the Quiet Mark Treehouse and Garden by John Lewis at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show on 8-13 July.

The garden will be the central feature at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The acoustically-designed structure has been developed to offer a vision of a quieter style of living.

The treehouse sits in naturalistic forest planting designed by David Domoney.

Visitors can explore the Treehouse, which is made from Kebony wood and includes a bee wall, houses for solitary bees, and wood stacks for frogs, toads and hedgehogs in the surrounding feature garden.

John Lewis’s partnership with the Quiet Mark award programme is based around high performance low-noise technology electrical products.

Lexus and Panasonic are feature sponsors of the Treehouse.

The garden will feature Quiet Mark awarded brands, including Panasonic, Magimix, Dyson, Philips and STIHL.

After the show it will be donated to Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice for Sussex.

More of a cosy picture than an excellent shot. I might go back and take a better one. Still, don't you just want to climb it?

It was god damn freezing when I was trying to take this. Camera just held manually, five vertical frames stitched in Photoshop. More shots from the day on shesgotapassionforfashion.blogspot.com/2010/11/narnia.html

Treehouse

So about today ... 8 hours of hiking ... I got a sunburn in my face ... the wind was very strong again today, so 20m trees were breaking all around me ... now I'm hungry.

Lying in the grass looking up towards the deep blue sky I shot this treehouse.

Happy Fourth of July!

Adult treehouse in my backyard is heated, but not enough to use in the winter. Can't wait for spring !

the bottom dowel was glued to the base, then the spindles glued into the holes top and bottom and the top dowel was lued on the end. the pinions went all the way through the dowel so the top railing will be sanded smooth and a balsa veneer added, just like the other two

The group loves their new treehouse!

''A tree house, a free house,

A secret you and me house,

A high up in the leafy branches

Cozy as can be house.

A street house, a neat house,

Be sure to wipe your feet house

Is not my kind of house at all -

Let's go live in a tree house.''

- Shel Silverstein, Where the Sidewalk Ends.

Treehouse, a replica of the one built by two brothers, stands near the entrance to Redwood Park.
