Lakefield National Park, far north Queensland. Nobody uses this one obviously!

This tree frog is the real deal. He had to jump on my truck mirror at my house and hung on tight for the 10 mile ride to Wal-Mart. I didn't see him until I was parked. I was able to open the door, catch him and move him to the bushes!

I went exploring in the woods looking for mushrooms and came across this little guy, he wasn't a mushroom! lol

He didn't mind the attention either.

He had pretty yellow on his underside, but you can't see it in the picture.

After looking it up, I found he is a gray tree frog either the Hyla chrysoscelis or the Hyla versicolor.

He posed nicely for me!

The green treefrog is one of Oklahoma’s most distinctive frogs. This moderately large treefrog has a slender body and smooth skin that is bright green. Another distinctive feature is a white or light yellow lateral line outlined in gray that extends from below the eye to the groin.

A slender treefrog (Litoria adelaidensis) is adhered to a Baumea stipe by suction-padded toes, hiding in a comfortable bed of sedges and rushes in a frog pond at the Environment House . ecoshop (www.environmenthouse.org.au/about-environment-house.php).

Thanks to Adaire for letting me photograph her froggies at Ecology Camp.

Saw this little guy on our tree stump. Never seen a white frog before.

For reasons that herpetologists don't quite understand, treefrogs love hanging out in PVC pipes that are stuck in the ground. If she has her camera out, that must mean there's a frog - or two - in the pipe.

A couple frogs are cute. Dozens of frogs are, well, less cute.

I have a Treefrog nursery on my back porch. Every night I see the same 3 little treefrogs hanging out.

I don't know if this is a tree frog native to Florida. I've heard of the invasive Cuban tree frog though and this isn't it. Can anyone tell me if it's native or not?

I hope to find some more Baja California Treefrogs, as all I've been seeing have been California Treefrogs (I really wanna see a green morph).

Boy, I was so excited to find this tiny little one! It measured approximately 40 mm, and this one is a pretty rare creature (or hard to find).
