An adult male Triangle Treefrog from Santa Cruz Forest Reserve, Loreto, Peru. Interestingly, I never saw a female specimen of this species that was spotted. I do not know if there is sexual dimoprhism in color/pattern in this species, but it would be interesting to look into.
Found this little guy while hiking a rather hard trail from Gandoca to Manzanillo, Costa Rica. He reminds me a lot of the Pacific Green Treefrogs we have in Oregon, USA, but obviously he's a different species.
One rainy evening this past July I arrived home from work and took my trash cans to the curb for pickup. on my return to the house I noticed this fellow trying to remain unseen at the edge of my driveway. He was a very large frog , much larger than any tree frog I had ever seen,(I am guessing he was some sort of tree frog) so I was very excited to get a few photos of him. I quickly went in the house and grabbed my camera and returned. On my return he was still rite were I had last seen him and we had a nice little photo session.
These guys were hanging out in the yard after a little rain. After looking at different species of tree frogs, I think these might be Squirrel Tree Frogs.

This little guy was waiting for me on the garage when I pulled into my parents driveway. He wanted his photo taken.

Adult male and female American Green Treefrogs (Hyla cinerea) in amplexus near a breeding pond in Walton County, Florida, USA.
Sierran Treefrog, also known as Pacific Chorus frog, I think. Really tiny, this is a cottonwood leave she's sitting on, she's about 3/4 inch long.
Sitting on the back stairs railing.
Rosie (one of our dogs) has been hunting around for this poor little fellow all week, but luckily he's eluded her so far.
Emerald-spotted treefrog.
Litoria peronii.
He's made from a pattern by someone called roman sock, who has a blog that you can find here: littlegreen.typepad.com/romansock/
Mine pales in comparison with hers...but next time I'll use better eyes and the right color/type of yarn for his back...and he'll be better.
