I think the neighbors are getting used to seeing some wierd person crawling around in the woods at night with a headlamp on - and a flash going off :)
Found this little guy while hiking a rather hard trail from Gandoca to Manzanillo, Costa Rica. He reminds me a lot of the Pacific Green Treefrogs we have in Oregon, USA, but obviously he's a different species.
One rainy evening this past July I arrived home from work and took my trash cans to the curb for pickup. on my return to the house I noticed this fellow trying to remain unseen at the edge of my driveway. He was a very large frog , much larger than any tree frog I had ever seen,(I am guessing he was some sort of tree frog) so I was very excited to get a few photos of him. I quickly went in the house and grabbed my camera and returned. On my return he was still rite were I had last seen him and we had a nice little photo session.
These guys were hanging out in the yard after a little rain. After looking at different species of tree frogs, I think these might be Squirrel Tree Frogs.

A tiny Eastern Gray Treefrog has decided to make the horses water tub faucet area his daytime home.
Every night he disappears out to do what he does I guess, find food, mate, etc., but every day for the last week he has returned right back to the small area just above the faucet that fills the horses water tub!
A small set of 7" pliers used to open/close the faucet is right next to him for size comparison.
