Vintage Japanese print by Ohara Koson.
Ohara Koson (1877-1945) born in Kanazawa, northern Japan was one of the foremost Japanese print artists of the 20th century. He was renowed for producing beautiful prints of birds and flowers as part of the Shin-Hanga (new prints) movement.

My wife drove the first part of our trip back home to NC. Since I was the passenger, I snapped these pictures of trees and mountains near Harpers Ferry. In this area, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia all kind of meet.
Birdfeeder, made of ceramic and hung by a small linked chain from a tree branch, It supplies food for the wild birds in our neighborhood in Carmel, New York.
I was sitting at a picnic table reviewing shots I'd just taken & was humming quietly when I heard a coo right above my head. Saw this beautiful rock dove trying to nap. Looked like it has orange eye shadow around its eye.

Cormorant on the tree is the only one around on this wet and overcast day, besides a few ducks and some finches flying low they were just to quick to get a good shot with the camera I had at the time.

Cocktail umbrella entry for the Canon Photo5 competition. Hardly original using the umbrellas as flowers (although I've used the underside while most people have used the tops), but I was inspired by the light. This was an idea I'd originally discarded, but revived when I noticed this scene the other day.
These tree branches are painted gold, and over the years they've become our family's 'arty' Christmas tree, being host to a variety of themes. Mum has been so taken by the umbrellas that she's decided that they're staying on there for this year!
Lichen attached to reeds along flooded Rock Creek in Noble Woods Park. Lichens do not have roots that absorb water and nutrients as plants do[7]:2 but like plants they produce their own food by photosynthesis using solar energy, from carbon dioxide, water and minerals in their environment.[8] When they grow on plants, they do not live as parasites but instead use the plants as a substrate. January 28, 2020 - Today we spent the majority of the day at Iguazú National Park (Parque Nacional Iguazú) located in Misiones Province, Argentina.
"Iguazu Falls are located within the Iguazu Falls National Park, a protected area over 67,720 hectares (167.34 acres) on the Northern border of the Province of Misiones, Argentina. The Park comprises a series of 275 waterfalls at the heart of the Paranaense Rainforest, located 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) from the Iguazu River feeding into the Paraná River, where the Argentine, Brazil and Paraguay borders meet, and where the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) face each other."
