Look carefully at how this tree is growing. It's roots are in the humus in the top part of the picture, then it grows down and out into the void over the canyon, turns and goes straight up into the air.

I’ve visited this spot about ½ dozen times over the last several years. Only recently discovering that the branches of this fallen tree has a brief period during the setting of the sun where it is illuminated against the shaded background gully. During this visit I was rewarded with pleasing skies which added to the mood of the scene from a couple of days ago.

Trollträdet
Deep in the forest, not far from Torpa there is a Magic Tree. In olden times people used to go to this strange tree to rid themselves of toothache.

I'm way behind on my botany/horticulture - I have no idea what this stuff is, looks like some sort of fern growing in the nooks of trees.
I envision very tiny magical things happening in there.
