Certainly the most original trek in this National Park - The Narrows.

After 2 hours of 'water hiking', objective was met; the floating rock; one of the iconic place of this trek.

I Think you could go there and take thousands of different point of views as there are so many possibilities, with all those curves, tones, water motion, ... I'll get back there one day !

Tuscany is a region in central Italy with an area of about 23,000 square kilometres (8,900 sq mi) and a population of about 3.8 million inhabitants (2013). The regional capital is Florence (Firenze).

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science, and contains well-known museums such as the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace.

Tuscany produces wines, including Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometimes considered "a nation within a nation".

Seven Tuscan localities have been designated World Heritage Sites: the historic centre of Florence (1982); the historical centre of Siena (1995); the square of the Cathedral of Pisa (1987); the historical centre of San Gimignano (1990); the historical centre of Pienza (1996); the Val d'Orcia (2004), and Medici Villas and Gardens (2013).

I returned to Tuscany after several years during a prolonged August weekend to explore famous hilltop settlements and enjoy Chianti & Montepulciano red wines.

The rolling landscape of Tuscany offer endless possibilities of finding a perfect view, fine scene, and beautiful atmosphere.

The magic of a huge redwood tree all done up in lights for the holidays.

Certainly the most original trek in this National Park - The Narrows; it follows the gorges created by the "Virgin Rvier", in the middle of Zion Valley. It is possible to walk in the middle of the huge red walls for several hours going upstream (10-15 miles). The difficulties here are; srong flow at certain places, cold air, and above all, the walk in fresh water, reaching to the knees and occasionally almost to the waist. (It is also preferred to find something that can serve us as a stick in order to get stability).

I Think you could go there and take thousands of different point of views as there are so many possibilities..

I had a blast editing this image :-)

Here is "kright kocoro cosplay" at Tournan en Brie

A makeshift wooden ladder propped up against a stone wall. My childhood was filled with stuff like this. Adventure around every corner, secrets hiding in every pile of leaves. Monsters lurking behind every dark patch of trees. Magic and mystery are everywhere, as long as you never stop looking for them.

Moody Vosges

This one is a moody one ...

I headed up for a fiery sunset, I ended up with that moody scene, but at the end I'm really glad of the result !

I remember we tried to catch the 'promissing' beautiful sunset. On our way there was a lot of fog everywhere, the atmosphere was totally orange. Unfortunately we could not stop on the road for a decent point of view. We continued and we stopped near a forest, after some meters and as the visibility was going down, I found this interesting contrasted moody scene showing the fog on one hand and the darkness of the woods on the other one.

In those cases I would have liked to find other compositions, but time was ticking, each shot tooks seconds (25 seconds for this one), and luminosity was declining rapidly.

Few days ago it went crazy in Belgium and espacially in the High fens ; around 30 cm of snow covered the place.

We headed up on a Thursday, to be on our own, avoiding the crowds of the weekend.

Conditions were perfect as the weather was changing rapidly ; sometimes clouds, sometimes the sun made is appearance ; just perfect for photography to have contrasts in the scene. We had to constantly look behind us because the weather / clouds / shadows could moved..

As only few people walked on this trail before us, this view interested me, leading to a massive fir covered by the snow … It was really " winter wonderland" or as if we were in Lapland…

I hope you got the chance to admire that snow !
