Fall landscape at sunset in local park. Sony a7 ii, Sel28f2. @f2

Memory of Trees, captured with my new Olympus G Zuiko Auto-W 20mm f/3.5 lens mounted on my Sony A7S II with a Fotodiox Olympus Pen F to Sony E-mount adapter.

The color version of this flowering tree captured on campus in late Oct. with iPhone and Olloclip Macro Lens, edited on the iPad in Snapseed.

If you care to compare to the original black and white post it can be viewed here: www.flickr.com/photos/firerybroome/23025964700/

A small portion of the extensive root system of a very large tree. Captured on the Aiea Loop Trail.

Another unpublished image from back in mid April. A flowering tree captured on campus.

Not sure what its called. It seemed different in that it was loaded with lots of pink flowers directly attached to and lined all along the tree's branches.

Not dangling off a little stem of some sort like most of the flowering trees seem to have.

Captured with iPhone, Olloclip Macro lens and edited on the iPad in Snapseed.

Jet and Fire in the Tree, captured with my Tasco 8000 Binocular 110 film camera and Lomography Tiger Color Negative 110 film. The "fire" is some kind of light leak that affected the film, but I like the effect.

I really like the perspective of looking straight up into the trees. Captured Monday August 2 at Bonanza Lake.

Manual focus, TAMRON 70-300mm F4-5.6, Sony a7ii.

Lac Du Bois Lake at Sunrise

~

I made a pre dawn trip to McQueen Lake in early October. As I neared the Lac Du Bois Lake I came upon what I thought was a pocket of fog on the lake. I captured this image as I waited for the sun to rise then continued to McQueen Lake, which was also shrouded in Fog that morning.

Regular followers will recognise this local tree - captured early in the morning with just a touch of frost around.

A majestic tree captured in Campinas, SP, Brazil, beside a road. It was captured in motion, causing this blur effect on the fence.

If you look closely, you can see the power wires behind the tree, showing the encounter between city and nature.

One of the first pictures I took as an amateur photographer.

I just love this picture.

Autumn trees at Thorp Perrow Arboretum

331 second long exposure shot of the Labuan bonsai tree, captured using Lee Filter Big Stopper. It was a really beautiful afternoon today for me to photograph this beautiful place.

An abstract photo of Christmas Lights on the Christmas Tree captured via Minolta MC Rokkor-X PF 50mm F/1.7 lens. Inside the creative halls of the 494 ∞ Photography Labs. On the last day of November 2019.

Exposure Time: 0.8 sec. * ISO Speed: ISO-640 * Aperture: F/16 * Bracketing: None * Color Temperature: 2800 K * Film Plug-In: Kodak Portra 160 VC

A remote Sony A9 ii mounted in my tree captured a parent mourning dove with their eggs waiting to hatch - triggered using Sony's Remote Camera Tool software over wifi,

Baboon and bare tree, captured during a sunny afternoon at Liwonde National Park, Malawi.

While staying over at Edisto Beach, SC in October of last year, astrophotography quickly came to mind as it is a moderately low light polluted area, bringing out more stars to gaze at than I’m used to in bright Tacoma.

I rested the camera and tripod under this palm tree capturing the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxy (closer to the top right of the frame-if you can spot it) in one celestial photograph. A calm, peaceful night during a hard chapter in my life.

Similar to a shot posted a couple months back but this time using a larger tree, captured Tuesday night.

A Blossom ladened tree captured on the way home, as a shower of rain skirted by Shoreham

My own consecutive frames of a mistle thrush (turdus viscivorus). As you may gather from the first frame, the bird had just taken off.

A couple of these thrushes had been having a 'rattling' argument about who 'owned' a nearby rowan tree!

Captures taken 16th December, 2014 with a Canon EOS 550D at 1/4000 sec, 400mm focal length. Would have liked to be closer, but I'm pleased with the result.

Thanks for all views, comments and fave adds.

A brilliant sweep of the Milky Way arcs across the night sky above silhouetted pine trees. Captured far from city lights, the scene reveals the dense star fields and structure of our galaxy, with a faint satellite streaking through the frame. A moment of cosmic stillness in nature’s darkest hours.

A male species looking for fruit, flying pass a papaya tree. Captured with remote triggered equipment.
