Our Christmas Tree. There are decorations that go on the tree year after year & some new ones each year.

I never fully appreciate the tree until I spend some time up close and take in the little hidden places between the branches.

This graceful tree is situated on the outskirts of the village, by the side of the road leading to Lancaster.

Close by are the Bus Stop, and Bus Shelter (one of the buildings on the right).

It always looks good, but is almost impossible to photograph in isolation. This is the best angle I could find.

On Christmas day, in the morning, it was covered in hoar frost, and looked like the very best of decorated trees. No need for silver tinsel or baubles to enhance it!!
