I found this Green Heron overhead in a tree overlooking a pond.

Seemed to be enjoying the view.

Some fascinating December light on trees at Haresfield,Gloucestershire.

Trees will always leave me in awe, especially when they are big enough to feel like a home. This was such peaceful place and I could have been sitting there for ever watching all the animals living there.

The gigant tree in Biei has name as "Tree of Philosophy".

It was too famous tree in Japan.

Then the grandeur stunned the people, and many people came to visit there.

But the owner came to puzzled to bad manners of visitors.

Yesterday(24th feb. 2016) this tree has been cut down by owner…

TREE SPARROW - Forvie National Nature Reserve, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

I've photographed this tree dozens and dozens of times over the last few years. I love the almost symmetrical crown and the way it's growing on it's own right in the middle of the field.

Arches National Park, Utah.

I really like this view as you walk towards the powerstation through the park

Or, 'please help me I'm falling'. .

Another Sheringham woods casualty of the recent storm.

My favorite tree at Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge in the Bitterroot Valley, western Montana. On this morning, a hawk is perched in the tree scanning the fields for breakfast.

Captured: light show at Gardens By the Bay in Singapore as the park's wonderful trees are illuminated to the sounds of retro fever!

Please see it Large.

No PS except for the frame.

The train was stopped on a siding waiting for a freight to pass. I went downstairs, opened the window and saw this lone stand of trees on an other wise white, barren hillside. Even to my naked eye it looked like a painting, maybe a water color. I liked the soft pastel quality of it also.

In the Hybrid map you can actually see the siding area.

Please try it Large.

Early mornings are the best for reflections.

A Perfect Tree...IMHO.

SUNRISE - NORAH JONES

THE SUNSET TREE

I sit beneath the sunset tree

and watch the sun go down

or sit and watch it rise again

far from the madding town

I lose myself along my beach

dance barefoot in the rain

I pick up my guitar to sing

and find myself again

I wish upon a rainbow

I telephone a friend

We let our tears flow freely then

it helps our hearts to mend

There's beauty all around me

it's everywhere I look

in the tiniest of flowers

in the sharing of a book

I feel connected to the Earth

feel sand between my toes

I love to splash in puddles still

and stop to smell a rose

but most of all I'm thankful

to have a friend in you

You recognise yourself in me

we'll make our dreams come true.

This was an amazing walk today across some very boggy landscape but well worth it. It was nice to see the sun shining :)
